Digital drawing Hi guys, I’m starting digital art as someone who’s somewhat decent at pencil and paper where do I start?

• Upvotes

I’m starting digital art cause I wanna expand my horizons and as someone who’s draws on paper I have no experience on digital art and where to begin, what do I practice first exactly?

Any videos/ YouTube channels would be much appreciated

Seeking help Why doesn’t it actuelly look like her? (Advanced advice required)

I'm training hard my portrait skills in order to sell some, I'm almost there but there is still something off. I mean most people would recognize her but it’s not perfect yet. I'd like to draw realistic as well as stylized and still make the essence of the model obvious. If it was a commission it would not be good enough to go on with shading and colorization and to sell yet.

What did I miss?

Thank you :)

Work in Progress :) From an idea to a sketch

Sketch is done, now to maybe work on cleaning up the lineart, perhaps some line thickness variation, and then do some colours.

Anyone has any thoughts on what I should correct before that?

Seeking help Day 2 of learning to sketch/draw. I’m completely new and stuck on what to practice next. Advice?

Hey guys, so literally just started drawing yesterday and attached my progress pics so far. I really want to stick with it and get better, but looking up tutorials online has been kind of overwhelming.

There's so much mixed info out there that I honestly feel stuck on what I should actually be doing every day, and I don't know what to keep practicing or move onto next. Any advice or directions to good resources for a total beginner would be awesome. Thanks!

I NEED HELP

I just worked up the courage to restart drawing, but I've been feeling like something is off, whether it be the shading or how much I'm filling up the page, it just never seems perfect recently. Way back then, I feel like I was in the zone and would honestly just appreciate it if I had any feedback on my drawings. The Gojo is my most recent and the other ones are my old ones from like 6 months ago.

Seeking help How to bridge the gap between Loomis method and sketch?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! I am a beginner digital artist that has been using procreate for 2 years. I have started to practice the Loomis method and the lines but then I don’t know how to turn that into a full sketch. Like how to go from the loomis head into a full drawing. Do I start with eyes? Mouth? I know I need to practice drawing those too. But once I have them how do I apply that to the loomis head in order to make a full sketch? How do i know where to even begin?

I’d show you pictures but I deleted my artwork. I usually do when I hate how it turns out. I want to get into drawing my own OCs and I also want to finally find my art style but I’m not sure how to bridge that gap between loomis method and sketch. That's kind of why I haven't been drawing full sketches lately because I get frustrated when I cannot bridge that gap.

Any advice helps!
