Will Delicias del Sur be opening again?

It’s been labeled as temporarily closed on google forever now so it seems like it may not be opening? We really loved it there.

The documentary of we are fugazi from washington d.c. (2023)

Tonight I saw a really good documentary at Liberty Hall about Fugazi, a band from Washington, DC. I had never heard of them before, and I was blown away by their documentary.

It showed me that bands really do care about their fans and that they just don't give a fuck. They will play their music the way they want to play it and they want everyone to enjoy it no matter what age you are. It said in the documentary that a lot of people can't go see their favorite band because they are underage. This band is completely different. They want their fans to come to their show no matter how old or young they are. They want their fans to listen to their music and feel the experience of watching their favorite artist perform live.

As someone who has been to 100+ concerts, I would definitely say it's a lot better to watch your favorite band perform live than to listen to their music on Spotify. There's that sense of enjoyment and entertainment and that feeling and the rush you get every time the drummer hits the drums. It's a feeling you cannot get if you're just listening on Spotify. These types of bands need to be seen.

I also loved the way they just took an ordinary camera and taped all of their shows before there were cell phones and digital cameras. I loved the way some of them told the story behind the camera and really captured the moment of the band playing live. They said in one part of the documentary that the best part of pressing the record button is watching it live as well. I get that feeling every time I press record on my cell phone with my favorite band performing my favorite songs while I'm rocking out in the audience.

This documentary also taught me how to be kind to people. You should always be kind to your fans and never let that get away from you. I have never seen a band have technical difficulties and not stop playing and keep going. I've always seen a band stop and start again if there were technical difficulties, but Fugazi never once stopped when the power went out on stage or they blew a fuse on the guitar amp.

I thought this was the greatest documentary about Fugazi that has ever been made. It makes me want to love music even more and continue going out there and watching my favorite bands/artists play live. I am not going to stop going to live shows until I either lose my eyesight or my hearing from all the noise and bright lights and lasers.

At this point, I would like to take some time to see what others think about this documentary. I know it was almost a packed house at Liberty Hall tonight, so I thought I would get on here and give my thoughts about Fugazi. Now it's your turn to give your opinion and thoughts on what you thought about the documentary. I'll be excited to see what people have to say, and I hope you loved it as much as I did!
