Begin rant.

Binging the series online, and something about this episode is already under my skin.

It's perpetuating the idea of the vicious pitbull. Now I know, aggressive pitts exist and have caused a lot of harm.

Having them sensationalized in the news is bad enough, but being profiled on a popular TV show just makes it worse.

Seriously though, while from a factual story perspective Goren should be retired and Eames getting close to it (like Olivia Benson who I wish would, but I'll leave that alone 😠). But I feel like if Wolf and NBC would bring who they can of the old writing team and perhaps make Vincent an executive producer I feel like CI would fare better and longer than OC did since it's an established series and has a cult following still.

Maybe them making the reboot showing Goren and Eames training their younger replacements as a lot of professions do! I could see younger detectives being put off by Goren's antics and Eames bringing sound reason to them making new detectives look at her like she's just as problematic lmao 🤣

Or maybe I'm reading too much into it...

I don't know, but I do know I want new L&O that I can really get into. I can't deal with the mother ship L&O reboot and I'm really sick of Olivia Benson and her preaching every week!

Just something I’ve wanted to know.

Which character were you most bummed out at their departure ? Even though I made this I still can't decide. On the one hand I still watched Law and Order when Lennie left but when Elliott left I stopped watching SVU

My first watch I focused on Goren and it my second I'm focusing on Emes. I'm currently in the middle of season 5 and I completely missed how many episodes Barek was in. With Logan I always think of Wheeler and of course I can't forget the charming Falacci. But I like Barek and wished she stayed longer.

One of my favorite, albeit hard to watch, episodes. I thought the actress who played Caryn Wyman was great but had no idea who she is. Her name is Charlotte d'Amboise. In addition to an extensive career on the stage, she also happens to be the daughter of the incomparable Jacques d'Amboise.
