Academics Picking classes!
Hey has anyone taken SOCL 2301, SOCL 4461, SOCL 3371 with professor Chauvin. Looking at rate my professor she has mixed reviews. The main thing I am seeing is the extra credit for attendance and her not posting notes on moodle. SOCL 2301 is the only one inperson but if someone who is currently taking her can shed light on how she is.
Also if anyone has taken psyc 2080 with Professor Knapp in person
And psyc 4008 with professor Baunmeister in person
my main worry is I will not be able to attend in person class and work my current job

I think for PSYC 4008 Professor Baunmeister is better than Gustin. Both probably have the same formatting where the exams are the only grades that are applied, I think the best way to pass this class is to go to every lecture and pay attention to the PowerPoints and then study the PowerPoints + Quizlet! Luckily he emails the slides to the class before the class starts. Update: it’s not necessary to go to class as attendance is not mandatory, but I feel like it’s important to probably go to the first few classes to understand the material

I wouldnt personally recommend Chauvin for exactly the reasons you listed, but 2080 with Knapp is a really fun and interesting class. I dropped everything to take her again this semester lol.
