LSAT Oct Retake Denied

Experienced a lot of technical difficulties during the test, just recived word back that my retake is not eligible?!???!?!? I this was supposed to be my fourth take but it appears like I might have to use my fifth?

For context, Prometric completely died on me during a stop/start break and skipped an entire section of the test. I was sitting there for 8 hours. I never finished the test.

the power literally went out at the testing center and they couldn’t turn the computers back on so they sent us home before I even finished my first section (!!!!) and LSAC denied my retest request!!! Have been on hold with LSAC for 45 min trying to get this fixed. Let me know if you get it resolved pls

I never expected that even testing centers would have these problems. This monopoly needs to vanish.

I’m obviously biased, but agree. The cherry on top is that it was technically my 5th attempt (even tho I didn’t even get to finish the first section when the power went out) and they said the decision was final and I can cancel my score and apply and hope to get a sixth attempt in 6 weeks. So the earliest I can retake is January. It’s just unfathomable

You've been wronged, everyone's biased when there's personal stakes involved.

I had the same problem and they’re saying that the decision is final and can’t be appealed. Is there anything I can do? No one is picking up the phone at all

I’d spam call and email them until they cave

The proctor kicked me out mid-Section 4, and Prometric kept having tech issues, including claiming my 2nd camera was pixelated when it wasn’t an issue on my end. Intake alone ate up 3 of my 6 accommodated hours due to the agents’ mic issues, despite restarting everything and passing every system check. I filed a complaint, but LSAC won’t let me retest and is only giving me the option to keep or cancel my score.

I only have one test left under my waiver, and although I’m scheduled for November, I’m considering skipping this cycle altogether. The exam wasn’t bad, but the remote testing conditions were unfair asf.

That is literally insane! My retake was approved the next day, and my situation wasn’t nearly as bad as yours. My proctor forgot steps during security checks, so made me redo them during my RC section and then there were disruptions during my final section. Was your test remote? Maybe they are harsher on remote vs in person?

Just got the same email after my proctor never showed up for almost three hours and there were a ton of interruptions. I do not understand.
