Argumentative Writing

Oh boy. I just did my first argumentative writing practice ever. That is not fun at all. I'm going to have to spend some time with this before I actually submit it. I realized I entirely missed what the question was even asking 8 minutes into writing, and I spent so much time on my introduction. I have a chronic habit of going back and forth when I'm writing too.

Do you guys think it'll be alright if I'm submitting this 2 weeks after my LSAT?
Also any suggestions on how I should best prep for this?

Introductions are hard for many writers, and I've seen some have success by starting with the first body paragraph and then going back to the intro, when you can basically summarize what you've already said instead of looking forward to what you will say.

Honestly I think this is smart. I might try to write my arguments before I write the introduction. I'll see how that works out for me on a practice run.

I did mine 3 days after score release and had no issue. Had it approved within a few days. Live life on your own timeline and in the way you feel most comfortable with. Do not worry if you don’t think you can officially do the argumentative writing now, you have a full year to do it anyways. The only caveat is, they won’t release your score without it. So it’s all up to you, in terms of the timing. Good luck!

It'll be alright in the sense that there's not going to be any permanent issues lol, but they might delay your score, which is not ideal.

Argumentative writing is important, but if you've done a practice run, you've done more than most. It might be worth it to do a couple more if you have concerns about how the first one went. But, I'd encourage you not to delay much further.
