A city overtaken by Christians wanted invocations. It got ā€œHail Satanā€ instead.

Is this what Henry was going on about during all those Squarespace ads?

And no, the irony of Henry Zebrowski sharing the same name as the game's protagonist is not lost on me. (The game is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.)

Great stuff. I’ve had several different roasts from Spring-Heeled Jack. They’ve all been excellent. Highly recommended if you love coffee.

Do any of you have weird, cool, fucked up jobs?

I’d love to find a way to blend my love for true crime, horror, and all things nasty into a job but I’ve got no ideas lol. Are any of yall lucky enough to have that?

Edit: I’m a writer, musician, and overall creative, in case that changes anything. But I still wanna hear what yall are doing regardless!!

Video of from the stream

Does anyone have a clip from the episode of the stream that had the video of the lady losing her shit in traffic and it had a voiceover of guided meditation? I can’t find the video anywhere and it was really funny.

The list of LPOTL episodes has been removed from the show's Wikipedia page, does anyone have a backup or know of another source?

I disagree with Ed’s Lion take.

If I find myself in a big cat enclosure, I’m not counting on a lions perceived laziness to save me. If I suddenly woke up in any big cat enclosure, I think I’m hoping it’s a Cheetah enclosure. I feel like by nature they’re probably the most docile and easiest (maybe) to fight back.

Tiger. I’m screwed. A Leopard or Panther…I feel like those are secretly more dangerous than a Lion. But a Lion I don’t wanna tussle with.

If the circumstances are I suddenly find myself in a large cat enclosure and it’s in my immediate vicinity and we’re both aware of each others presence, I’m banking on my chances of surviving my way out on being in a Cheetah enclosure. That’s if we’re talking all the big cats. Not counting the genetically engineered Lyger or Tigon.

how dumb is my theory?

We've all heard Marcus's theory that there's less ghost sightings and ooky spooky sighting in general because we all live and move in a sea of electromagnetic radiation.

But what if there are less ghost and cryptid sightings because glasses/contacts are now widely available and incredibly common? Like we can literally see better than we ever have in human history so weird shapes are just "oh, those branches are weird and blowing in the wind" instead of "skinwalker sighted, abort"?

I know we've had glasses for a long, long time, but optics as a science has come a long way from what the Chinese were doing and what Benny Franks was wearing. Plus precision ground glass is way more available and affordable now, nevermind all the fancy polycarbonates and whatnot they can use if you're as fucking blind as I am and don't want to wander around looking like Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys. Plus plus, at least where I live a vision test is something public schools do, so they identify the problems early.

Anyway, let me know what you think. This post brought to you by me not having my glasses on and thinking there was a 12 foot tall pale faced creature in the tree line in my backyard, when really it was my wife wearing clothes that blended into the background doing some gardening.

EDIT: No-Face from Spirited Away. It just came to me. That's what I thought I saw in my tree line for a moment. Glasses are truly a wonderful thing.

I want to know: who is your favorite "goofy Canadian"? Mine would be Red Green who gave me sage advice I genuinely follow closely: "If you can't be handsome, be handy."

When Marcus is describing the horrible horse story in pt. I there is eerie string music playing. Does anyone know what this is or where it’s from?

Putting together a creepy instrumental music Halloween playlist.
