I live behind a gate. I can either turn of my car to use the fob, fiddle with the fob with the keys in the ignition, or enter a code that calls my phone and waits for a specific code in response, which sucks because it forces me to fumble for my phone in my pants pocket.

Is there a way to program the phone to respond with the code when it gets a call from the gate machine?

My burner is a Samsung Galaxy A06 5G and as a Theater mode which silences it for a given amount of time after which it goes back to normal.

I'd like this for my V60 but can't find it. Is there something in the play store I can install that enables this.

Hi everyone. I don't use LG phones anymore, but I do miss them—especially the system, which was very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Since I couldn't find the icon pack, I changed the system icons to the LG-style ones. Here is how they turned out; it was the best way I found to bring a bit of that LG feel back.

Hi everyone,

After using my LG G7 for 6 years I dropped it to WC and also it was time to buy a new one, but I absolutely love the LG UX and I wanted to try the V60.

It is not sold in my country (Turkey) so I had to buy a Japanese Softbank version (bought for 100 usd from Janpara).

I wanted to ask how can I debloat Japanese apps and which apps I should absolutely not remove. Is [Universal Android Debloater](https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater) fine?

Also, it is on Android 10. I read some posts and some of you want to actually downgrade to 10, is it possible to upgrade to 13 or should I even attempt to? Thanks!

Seeing as the LGV60 is an older phone I was hoping that the dual case might be in a respectable price range but when I looked on Amazon the case was still around $200 Canadian.

Do you guys have any suggestions of what sites to try for a possible better price?

I had my phone on my tool box at work and when I came back some jackass had broken my screen and now I would like to find a replacement.

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

Sold "unopened - never used"

No speaker mesh, speaker port lacks mesh, has dust and lint, as does USBC, 3.5mm is tight but works fine, camera lens has mic hole, dope, back cover slightly lifted, and there is space to fit in my fingernail, altho it does stick down with a gentle squeeze, likely poorly stuck on.

Am happy otherwise, sold with "no returns" tho perhaps get a reduction/partial refund as like, this is sold under false pretenses.

It's a V600TM - I've already decided I am keeping it, as it works flawlessly and the display is gorgeous, and I'm not really bothered about the speakers - sound is a bit rattly and harsh at full volume, but good otherwise. Does not sound as clear as my Xiaomi 12 on full volume.

Also, the sim tray is not metal on top, but plastic, has no ink printing, has holes for dual sim, and no rubber gasket. Will be replacing with OEM.

I've ordered a case for this and won't be taking it outside until I've got it.

Battery life is absolutely mint.

Thanks and sorry for the broken typing/paragraphs lol.

P.S: I installed LOS 23.2 myself.

Just recently acquired the Verizon variant of the V60, as well as the dual screen, but the V60 updated to stock Android 13 doesn't work with the dual screen out of the box. Tried everything to reset and reboot in safe mode, factory reset, nothing works to light the dual screen functionality with the menu bar.

Also, the case buttons (taken by the hinge) don't align with the phone when inserted into the case, is this expected? Charging peripheral works as expected.

Considering the LineageOS mod by u/greatluke as the only viable option to convert as my main phone at this point.

Any further advice before having to do a complex mod?

I forget which model but I read (probably on here tbh, or youtube) that one of the batteries out of a Samsung fit, which gave a lot more battery life than any of the aftermarket ones available. it seems plausible but I don't remember which phone it came out of. I kinda want to try it out

my iphone 12 broke a few days back and i used to own a v50. Im curious what yall think? ✌️✌️

LG for some reason hid this setting away from the Developer Optiions menu, so you wouldn't be able to access it normally. But thanks to DevSwitch, that is no longer an issue.

https://f-droid.org/en/packages/app.devswitch/ (still at v1.1)

https://github.com/retransmit/DevSwitch (latest at v1.3)

Happy tinkering!

how do i downgrade my lgv60 to android 10? i felt like the dac/amp was much better in that update

I've had my dual screen for about a week now and have been using it everyday. It's been very good to me no issues at all.

Some cons would be the battery life, if I have both screens on all day it dies rather quickly, but that's to be expected.

One more slight downside is I'm very very hesitant to let anyone handle my phone. My family members never even if it's just to show them a picture or something like that. With my S24 Ultra I don't even think twice to hand it to someone for them to look at.

Multi-tasking is very nice now, yes android has the split screen on almost every phone now but having my dual screen 10x better. Like budgeting expensive while swapping between two apps. If I'm watching content on one screen and I get sent a large message it's very convenient to open it on the other screen and put it back to sleep once I'm done with it.

I'm still looking for a keyboard or something to use on one screen if I'm on chrome or docs.

Overall a very nice experience on almost 7 year old hardware.

I tried installing a custom rom, after factory resetting, it wiped everything on the internal storage. No roms are installing, all of them fail to install. I'm trying to use LGup to flash the stock rom, but it doesn't detect my phone for some reason. Please I need help to fix this.

I was very lucky to find someone selling a dual screen case on Facebook for 20$ excellent condition and he still had the box and paper work.

Is there anything tips I should know?

Anything I should watch out about?

Basically the power button fell off somehow.

Right now i just use a paper clip.

Not interested in taking this apart to fix, just want an easy solution more convenient than a paper clip

This is adb audio output for the jack point only i will soon hv a post if i can read external dac HAL path too

As u can see .... In the image

Hal is hardware whatever layer 😐...

In simple this hi res so called bitperfect music player all of them uses 0×6 which is for the PCM path 0×1 which is for the direct communicate to the chip or dac ....

They made tiny ALSA which is some kind of protection layer so android wont touch it n u can directly talk with chip....

2) only issue with this is 24 bit packed cant play 32 bit audio * it will be downsample to 24 bit packed matter of the fact why dsd to pcm conversion in this app do low volume output as this conversion destroy proper way .. That y dsd native sound soo dynamic but dsd to pcm dont on this app... 😟

So I have a LG velvet it was cross flashed into a different Firmware EMW for IMEI change its Original firmware was N Korean Variant It worked proper I couldn't make calls but I could use the mobile data it started bootlooping all of a sudden I gave it to a technician to fix it he tried to flash EMW on it again and it got stuck in fastboot I installed a new firmware Android 12 the old was android 10 i tried CMD commands but to no use it is just stuck in fastboot even though the partition and GPT is correct and. I am using the correct slot.

Does anyone know where I can find the original LG UX10 icons? If anyone knows or can share the ones from their V60 or any LG device running UX10, I would be incredibly grateful!

LG Have WiFi QR Share behind their WiFi Settings app code LGWifiSettings.apk, but they didn't implement it fully and never brought it up to the official.

That's why I released this Magisk/KSU Module to bring this feature up.

I've tested this on LG V50 and V50s A12 and A13 (Using A13 Port rom that I've been actively working on and it's based on LG V60 A13 firmware) and it works. In theory this should work on LG Devices Running Stock A12 - A13 (Possibly on A11 also)

It continues to deliver exceptional performance—the only phone I haven't considered replacing

I may have posted about this previously but I can't find it. For some time, there's been a significant delay (10 or 20 seconds, I haven't bothered to count) between when my phone starts ringing and when it displays a pop-up where I can actually tap to answer or decline the call. The stand there with my phone in my hand, with it making all kinds of noise before I can do anything about it. Is anybody else experiencing this? Anybody have any fixes?

Also, has anybody else noticed that the notification in the pull down tray for ending calls is buried and requires a ton of scrolling and tapping to get to when I just want to hang up the damn phone?

I'm also experiencing intermittent situations where it won't make notification sounds or pop up notifications at all. I can't seem to figure out any correlation between this and other things I might be doing on my phone.

I love my v60 but it seems to be succumbing the rest of the way to planned obsolescence. I'm going to try to hold out until next year when I'll have more options for grapheneOS-compatible devices. I've had it with google, android, and all of this AI bloat that spies on us and destroys the environment without offering any real increase in benefit over existing technology. The march toward enshittification continues. Rawr. 😭😡
