What is my sexuality bruh

Ok so... I'm a woman. When it comes to fiction. I'm only attracted to men. But when it comes to irl. I'm only attracted to women

Though I rarely have feelings for irl people but it's always women

What am I supposed to call myself? Straight-ficto lesbian-irl?

Alan Cumming tackles anti-LGBTQ+ hate in new series 'Tip Toe' on STARZ: 'This show is about vilifying low-hanging fruit in society, which is often queer people, trans people, immigrants, and refugees. The American government is supporting the vilification of all of these groups.'

Ok, for context I live on a country where its so illegal(like the punishment is execution)to be lgbtq and my father was angry cuz I didn't finish cleaning the living room fast enough(so he literally took my phone and searching inside looking for bad stuff idk) and he didn't saw reddit luckily cuz most posts I read is about games then lgbtq posts and my chats with my trans friend and my ex so yeah I just wanted to talk about it cuz I don't have anyone to talk about it

Im sort of hurt by my mom

I (25f) dont have the best relationship with my mom, i lie/keep alot about myself away from her, including me being gay (tho i sort of stand on the principle that i dont need to come out and can simply exist as i am).

Im relatively feminine appearance wise and still am usually mistaken for being straight.

Tonight I just had FT her and she asked if I cut my hair even shorter (its a BOB!!!) and just made some offhand comment she thought i couldn’t hear.

I have really let go of the ideal relationship i want between me and my mom, she cant even respect or have empathy for some groups of people , but i have a lot of guilt bot having the relationship with her I want. It is just hitting harder recently as ive become likely more clearly gay (never had a bf too lol) and she says things. Im not necessarily hurt by what she says, but im hurt by the version of her i want to have and knowing each comment is pushing that further away.

I know many ppl will say to go no contact, but i think the guilt will eat me alive. Im not strong enough to abandon my mother with no-one even if she isnt a great person. I just wish id stop the ache i feel when i talk to her.

I think my ex's biphobia has given me a complex

She was only outwardly biphobic to me on a handful of occasions throughout our relationship, but she did make comments towards other bi people too.

The first time it happened, I blew the fuck up. She gagged after I mentioned that I'm not a lesbian because I'm still attracted to men. She gagged at me and said it was disgusting. I'd never experienced anything like that before. I was under the impression that we were part of the same community and therefore equal. This was my first wlw relationship, so I guess I was naive.

We used to be involved in the BDSM scene, where she was allowed to dominate men (non sexual), but I wasn't unless she was involved. We were allowed to sleep with other people, but I wasn't allowed to look at a man. I assumed this was pretty normal, and accepted her boundaries, but I kind of felt like I was suppressing myself.

She continued made a handful of underhanded comments towards my sexuality, for example She would openly declare "I don't date bi women", "see, this is why I don't date bi girls". She was generally very open about her disgust towards male attraction. She would make faces and say "ew, why?" If a woman expressed that she was straight. She would try to convince them otherwise. When my friend realised she was bi, not gay, my ex said "I'm so sorry" among other things to her, in front of her trans boyfriend. It really got to both of them, and they stopped talking to her after that.

She would always try to convince me that I was a lesbian, and now that our relationship is over I'm having a sexuality crisis and realising that I now hold a lot of internalised biphobia that I didn't have before. I have never felt ashamed of disgusted by my sexuality before. I have never felt like it was something I should hide. I never even had to come out to my parents, we are a really accepting household. But a lesbian, with a history of dating men, with parents who laughed in her face and didn't want to accept her, a family that I had to convince that I was worthy of being a part of, has deconstructed my entire world.

I'm dating again. I don't want to date men, I haven't even been attracted to a man in a long time. I keep asking myself "is that because I'm gay, Or is it because I'm ashamed?" And I cant tell anymore. I think I generally have better experiences with women, I don't see myself ever dating a man again really. I find myself hiding my sexuality now. I don't want to talk about it. The label feels dirty, I feel tainted. When I'm talking to a woman and she asks I feel so much guilt and shame. I feel like I have to apologise for ever being touched by man and for ever wanting to be touched by one. I'm so scared that I'll find someone and they won't want to be with me because I'm dirty.

Maybe I've always held some level of biphobia. Maybe I've never taken it seriously. I've always centered men because that's what I was taught to do. Maybe I'm not even bi, or never was. I don't even know anymore. I'm so confused.

being trans and black is alright, I guess

a minority is an oppressed group, like black people. being part of one minority is already hard as hell. I mean, there's already people hating on you just for being one minority. but two? one was already pushing it, but now more people are against you specifically. and unfortunately, that's where I am. hello, my name is noelle, and I'm a trans black woman. I'm a minor from Ethiopia, and fortunately, I live in a pretty LGBTQ friendly state. I'm going to split this into two parts, how I found out I was trans, and how my daily life as a trans woman goes. first off, how I found out I'm trans. believe it or not, when I first found out about the community, I was VERY homophobic. I hated gay people with my LIFE. luckily, i slowly just accepted them until eventually, I joined the community two years ago. I toyed around with different sexualities and genders to see what fit with me until eventually, in April, I settled with being transfem and bi. and that's how it's been. now, how life goes around for me. I live in a pretty homophobic family, so no way I can dress femininely near them. the only time I get away from them is school, however. so that stinks. I've already came out to everyone at my school, but it was very recently, so people still call me by my deadname. I've never really faced any transphobia in school, or at all. I've faced more transphobia online than I have in real life. that's how low it gets. I've came out to my teachers, my friends, basically everyone knows. other than that, it's a normal life, even though I still look like a guy yet go by a girl name

Any way to keep my voice but get other effects of T?

What the title says. I basically want appearance changes, but not for my voice to drop. Will I have to do something like surgery to get it back? Or is there a different way? Thanks.
