23FtM, pre-transition and US based. Most of my friends that I've had before have been cis-het in their 30s. Generally I don't really care about age as long as you're preferably 20+.

Games I play are stuff like Fortnite, Overwatch, and Dead By Daylight. I also have Repo and Marvel Rivals but I don't play those super often. I also have a lot of single player games, so just chilling in call while we do our own thing is also fine too.

Let's give this another shot. I go by Alec. I'm 32 years old, male and openly gay. I'm lonely. There's no fun way to put that. I'm looking for friends to play with semi-regularly. I'm currently unemployed and nearly always available. I have a total of 582 games on Steam but that's a lot to get through so I've gone ahead and picked out the ones that I'm actively playing or would play and separated them into categories for you.

Personality wise, I'm chill and can take a joke. I like most kinds of humor. I'm sharp, and like similarly quick-witted company. I may not always make you laugh, but when I do you'll be laughing for ages. I like games that you can get lost in. Co-Op is my favorite style. I don't do the whole PvP thing, even in ARC Raiders I go out of my way to be friendly and helpful so I don't get ganked. I'm playing a lot of ARC at the moment due to the PvE toggle they're testing this week. I could really use a fellow raider to show me the ropes and help me survive topside.

I love shooters and third-person exploration games primarily. Not a huge fan of top-downs as much. I'm chill enough to be open to trying new games, but I can't buy anything for the forseeable future so bear that in mind. I know there are a lot of hidden free gems on Steam though, maybe worth a peek.

When I'm not gaming, I'm looking after my disabled mother. It's essentially a full-time gig. Instead of getting a paycheck, I get a free place to live and tons of free time to game. The only caveat with all these wonderful games I have is that my laptop only has 250gb storage, meaning I can only really have one large game installed at a time. I do have 500mbps internet though so swapping out the heavy hitters doesn't take too long. Usually a half hour at most. I'm always down to swap out installed games on the fly.

You'll see a category of Singleplayer games here. Might be wondering about that. I love a lot of horror games and intense story experiences but I don't love experiencing them alone. I like having a buddy to VC with who's watching, commentating and even helping me progress. Sort of a shared experience. I would actually stream but it's not the same thing as being in a private call with someone who's verbally engaged. If you're the kind of person who wants to see these games played and loves helping, I'd be down to hang out and stream them for you.

Some of the titles below don't require you to own a copy. They're either totally free or use Remote Play Together. Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has a 3ds with pretending and wants to be friends!

I want to talk about something that has been bothering me regarding moderation in Apex Legends.

A friend of mine previously received a 72-hour suspension for a message that EA classified as harassment and bullying. We aren't trying to dispute that decision or claim that she did nothing wrong. She accepts that her message warranted punishment.

However, there's another side to this situation.

I personally heard another player verbally abuse her over voice chat. Within approximately five minutes, he called her a "bitch" and a "20-dollar whore," told her to "make him a sandwich" and said that "the kitchen is where she belongs," along with several other degrading insults. This happened after he got knocked as a result of his own actions.

I reported him, and EA reviewed my report. Their response was that no action would be taken.

I understand that these are separate incidents and that context matters. I also don't have a recording of the voice-chat incident, so I can only share what I personally witnessed. However, EA's response raised questions about how voice-chat reports are handled and what happens when players experience verbal harassment.

My friend accepts the consequences of her own actions. But where is the fairness when we report someone for repeatedly directing sexist insults at another player and the report results in no action?

I'm not asking EA to punish anyone without evidence, nor am I claiming that every report should automatically result in a suspension. I want to understand how the system works and whether players can expect consistent enforcement regardless of whether harassment happens in text or voice chat.

I'm sharing the responses I received from EA because I believe this deserves a serious discussion, not because I want to target or harass an individual player.

Have you experienced something similar in Apex Legends? Have you reported voice-chat harassment and received no action?

I'd genuinely like to hear other players' experiences and see whether this is a broader issue that EA needs to address.

I’m a 33-year-old trans woman, and honestly, I’ve been reflecting on how lonely adulthood can feel when it comes to friendships.
In my early 20s, before my transition, I had a ton of friends. Surprisingly, many of those friends transitioned, too. Over the years, though, we all went our separate ways. Some friendships simply faded, while others ended because of betrayal, jealousy, or experiences that genuinely hurt me.
Sometimes I wonder why maintaining friendships with other trans women has been so difficult for me personally. I don’t know if it’s just my experience, but several people I once considered sisters seemed to have some kind of animosity toward me.
Two friends even got involved with my ex shortly after we broke up. Another repeatedly tried to sabotage my relationships with men. I felt like there was jealousy surrounding the fact that my family continued to love and support me before and after my transition, while she didn’t have that same experience with her own family.
I’ve been through a lot of trauma, and despite everything, my heart still yearns for that genuine bond with another trans woman. Someone I can call my sister. Someone I can trust, laugh with, talk to about life, and feel safe being myself around.
I even had a friendship with someone I’d known since she was 14. Over time, we grew apart because she judged my interests, especially my love for video games and anything nerdy or geeky. After years of bickering, I eventually had to walk away from that friendship, too.
I’m not sharing these experiences because I believe all trans women are like this. I know everyone is different, and I’m sure there are wonderful friendships out there. I’m sharing because I’m tired of feeling like finding my people is so difficult.
I’m looking for a trans sister who shares my interests — someone into Pokémon cards, video games, technology, nerdy and geeky things, and just enjoying life together. Someone who wants a friendship built on mutual respect, loyalty, encouragement, honesty, and genuine love without competition or hidden resentment.
I don’t need a perfect person, and I’m not looking for perfection in a friendship. I just want something real.
Sometimes you can have people around you and still feel completely alone. I’m hoping there’s another trans girl out there who understands that feeling and is also looking for her person.
