I don’t know if there are any other perfumers or deep enthusiasts on this, but I’ve decided to make my own version of the perfumaniacs perfume.

This is driven by the fact that I don’t particularly feel like spending 100+ dollars on something I have some reservations about, as well as being not too particularly fond of some of the florals.

I actively agree with many of the decisions they have made but I just want to tweak somethings for personal taste and based on Kampo recipes.

I have somethings up in the air, and I would welcome some input.

Top notes:
Ginger, shiso, black pepper, yuzu
Optional (Lilly, jasmine, fern)

Heart notes:
Rishi, hinoki,
(Optional) tuberose, frankincense, lapsang souchong, myrrh

Base notes:
Ambergris (synthetic), cashmeran, amber
Optionals (vetiver, agar wood, or nagarmotha) hiba wood or teak
