Kamal Chomani: "I spent ten days in the PKK headquarters and caves before finally reaching Murat Karayılan for this exclusive interview with The Amargi. We begin with the wars reshaping the Middle East and then break down the peace process, in which Mr. Karayılan clearly calls on the Turkish state to end policies of denial and annihilation, and on Kurds to abandon rebellion and work toward establishing a democratic state.
"Mr. Karayılan has not spoken to any external media outlet for the past 12 years. We at The Amargi were lucky to be the first.
"If you are following the Kurdish question, the peace process and Turkish politics, this interview is for you."
I will try to write my reflections on those 10 days after some rest when time allows.
Enjoy the interview for now."

Hello well I'm kurdish and i study in an institute and in there I see girls that are attractive with a pretty style and I want to get to know them because I find them cute and I wanted them to like me too but in a romantic way like they also get to know me but I feel that I will disappoint them because of who I really am and how depressed and social anxiety and weak I am, like I see those girls they are attractive and pretty and feminine but they see me as a girl which I mentioned in my other post that I have gender dysphoria which I see myself as a boy, but I get along with it like I can act a little bit feminine but I'm not feminine so in a logic way well as they are seeing me as a girl I look like a soft-masc girl I have a short hair but not that short I have long hair like a mod cut and I do think that I am attractive but the thing is my feelings toward them is that I can't get to know them I can't treat them how they deserve I see that I will disappoint them because I tried many times to get to know to the girls that I like but end up leaving them or them leaving me so it kind of scares me I also see other girls that are masculine that they are obviously WLW but they are not afraid otherwise they do get what they want I don't know how and I have never talked to them about them because in our society it's a shameful thing to be yourself as you know a part of LGBTQ
The thing is I'm afraid and I'm not really mentally well those days I have lately been depressed and overthinking about everything life and the society and how people see me I know this sounds stupid or anything else but it is really hard to deal with it I'm not really good at speaking as well or explaining stuff but I'm trying my best and lately I have broke my relationship friendship with a girl I like because I told her that "I don't see myself important to you as much as you are to me" that was the reason even though she knows about my gender dysphoria and some of my personal stuff she was like real close but she did not give me the attention or the care I need and I don't usually ask for attention because I believe if someone really cares about it they will give you I don't know I might be wrong but I told her it is for the best for both of us
And our institute is like boys and girls are together but not in the same class in class there are different girls classes are up & boys classes are down and I see those vine girls talking about the boys or maybe I see the boys looking at the girls and I see girls looking at boys and how they have boyfriends and girlfriends and I am still there liking girls that I can't have it is really a hard thing to deal with like imagine looking at something you really want to have and you can't
So I'm asking if there's someone like me out there who is from our society and have a familiar feeling towards this post to talk to me about it or help me about it because I'm really tired of liking girls that I can't have a relationship with I'm not saying I want a relationship but I just want to have this romantically thing like I don't wanna name our relationship like I just wanted a special relationship to be there for each other like a platonic relationship
I wrote this post with voice keyboard so if there's a mistake in grammar or anything I apologies and I hope you understand it and you get what I'm saying and thank you for reading

It should be clear by now that Radical arabs are intrnd on driving us out and do to us what they are doing to the druze and Alawites.
There is no point in reasoning with them. It is time we get serious and stop obsessing over socialist utopias.
Time to prepare the Kurdish youth for what is to come and teach them to fight back where it counts, not some beotherhood of peoples nonsense or 4th wave feminism.
No civilisation has ever won or survived like that.

Last night I came across a tweet on X discussing the apparent rise of anti-Kurdish propaganda across Arab countries and the broader Muslim world over the past few years, and honestly, it got me concerned. The way Kurds are increasingly being portrayed in some of these spaces seems to go beyond ordinary political disagreements, with people spreading hateful rhetoric and painting Kurds in an extremely dehumanizing light. I’m genuinely concerned about how widespread this might be, how much influence it’s gaining online, and whether this kind of rhetoric could eventually translate into real-world hostility and violence against our people. Have any of you noticed this trend yourselves? Have you come across examples of this propaganda on social media or elsewhere? I’d genuinely like to hear what others have seen, because I think it’s something we should be paying attention to rather than dismissing it outright.

Also, what’s up with the knife the masked guy is holding? That doesn’t exactly seem peaceful at all.

I’m currently writing an article about why the Kurdish language is so poetic especially in daily speaking.
My main argument is that the oppression of Kurds by the Iranian, Iraqi, Turkish and Syrian government forced Kurdish people to use poetry as a shield against linguistic erasure, weaponising metaphor for political resistance and articulating the trauma of loss and displacement where I will be writing about the halabja massacre, anfal and many more
I just want to ask
Those who grew up around assimilation policies or anywhere where your parents warned you to avoid speaking Kurdish or letting anyone know you’re Kurdish,

I don’t know if this ever happened to any of you but have you noticed how our culture, especially with the elders and the older generation, are so outdated when it comes to marriage like literally peer pressuring you all the time to marry marry marry the moment you become 20 when you are a man but if you are a woman or a girl and if a girl says that she wants to marry they will scold her and attack her?! The patriarchy is still prevalent in our society and honestly it’s so exhausting and sickening. And the worst thing is they are so close minded they think that the world they grew up in is still the same. They fail to realize and admit that the world has changed and moved forward and each and every generation it changes the world is always changing it never stays the same. But they fail to realize that either out of their arrogance or on purpose or I don’t even know why. I wish we the new generation could put a limit in front of them and not let them say whatever they want.

Video footage and local sources indicated that some of those involved chanted anti-Kurdish slogans, prompting anger among Kurdish residents and triggering protests that further heightened tensions in the city.

Hello, I live in the uk, I’m a teacher. I have a student that can’t speak English, only Kurdish. Been trying to help him.
At the moment we have learning about the English civil war, (I’m a History teacher) I had this work sheet to see if he knows of any of these concepts in his own language, to see if he went to school in Kurdistan. I have tried to translate this on ChatGPT and Google but can’t get a reliable translation. Would anyone be able to translate what me student wrote or even wheather my worksheet made sense?
Would really appreciate it, we don’t have any Kurdish speakers at the school.

I'm a kurdish person who has gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder the society might sees me as a tomboy maybe but i see myself as a dude but kinda get lost between what society sees me and what i see myself and that's really been hard on me
And i also have feelings for girls but i don't see that it's a lesbian thing cause i see myself as a guy so it makes me a straight person, Kurdish society doesn't really support LGBTQ or have that knowledge about them but i also don't count myself as a part of LGBTQ community
I just find it really hard to force myself to make me belong to somewhere i don't fit in, i did also mention that i have feelings towards girls which is way harder cause i also distance myself from everyone cause i feel lost i really need help idk what to do anymore with everything

AncestryDNA beinf scared to add Kurdish regions, or to be more specific, naming them Kurdish and making more detailed Kurdish regions instead of mixing everyone up in that region with Turks and whoever.
