Finding patterns
I tend to buy wool as I see it and if it catches my eye - but without a pattern in mind.
If you are the same as me, how do you go about looking for patterns to work with?

On Ravelry you can specify the amount and weight of yarn you have and search for projects for that amount.

I find lots of patterns on designers' websites. Or wool manufacturing websites. What tends to happen for me is that I decide on an item, eg a hat, and then Google hat patterns.. free or paid. Etsy has lots of ideas too as well as patterns.

I found a cardigan pattern I like to knit and I know it by heart. It takes around 600g of 4-ply yarn. So yup, I reknit the same pattern time and again
