He's so sweet sometimes😭
I adopted my first kitten, and first pet, at around 2 months old, and now she's 3 and a half. And i'm wondering if I should adopt another kitten (probably 2-3 months old ) to keep her company due to my work and schooling taking so much time, i'm not really home a lot and the times that I am there, I kind of need time for myself but I do try to maximize playing with her as much as possible, and we do play a lot, but I feel like it's almost kind of inhumane to not get her another kitten friend and just keep her locked up with no one to play with. I'm worried it just might be too much for me since this is the first time i've ever had a pet, but I really love my kitten, and she's the best thing that's happened to me so I want to do right by her.

I discovered a momma kitty and her five babies in the bushes behind my house a while back. The mother and two of the babies have found homes, and Manny decided that I am his person. 😊

I recently foster failed a female kitten 2 months ago. She is currently ~6 months old and I want her to have another kitten to grow up with but I also think she does great on her own and with my 2.5 yo puppy. I’m considering a 2 month old female kitten to adopt now but am worried about making the wrong decision. I don’t want to mess up the dynamic and make my new kitten shut down or make my puppy feel left out.
Anyone have opinions or thoughts? For context, my kitten has met other kittens and immediately hissed and growled upon meeting but warms up to them and plays very well. This was a male kitten though so I’m not sure how she’d so with females or if she’ll be territorial. I love her personality and she’s opened up a lot the past couple months so I don’t want to make her shut down.

She’s great in the car! And absolutely loves looking out the window.

Not that it matters she is loved and cute either way but do we think she is going to be long haired.
Edit: I should say too she is around 12 weeks old and a stray we found.

have 2 adult cats but I’m getting a kitten soon. I give my cats wet food and a skin and coat supplement and a cranberry urinary supplement. I was just approved for adoption so I’ll be getting my kitten soon and I have kitten food for him but I was wondering if I should start the supplements early (smaller amounts obviously) or just wait till he’s 1 and an adult

Has anyone ever seen a kitten get zoomies in one spot before? It’s interesting.

Coming on here to celebrate Pumpkin turning 5 weeks old and eating wet food all by herself for the first time today! 🥹🎃🧡
I rescued her when she was only a couple of days old after her mom abandoned her. I had never cared for a kitten this tiny, and honestly this whole process has been scary. So many sleepless nights, round the clock feedings, and moments of wondering if I was doing everything right. Kitten Lady’s videos and resources helped me learn so much and gave me confidence when I needed it most.
Today watching her eat wet food on her own I started ugly crying. It might seem like such a little thing but after everything she’s been through it felt huge. This tiny baby who depended on me for absolutely everything is growing up and figuring things out on her own 😭
I just wanted to share this big milestone with people who would understand why a kitten eating off a plate had me sobbing. Here’s to growing bigger, stronger, and a little more independent every day!!!

He's 5½ months now and so big. We also realised his tail is longe than our adult cat's, and I've heard Ragdolls have long tails so the minimal Ragdoll genes he got from his dad are doing something! He's also like super chill. He's the chillest cat I've ever met, even when he gets scared, he's so much more calmer than any other cat I've met😭‼️
Also in this pic he has a necklace on, bfr any of y'all get worried, I only had it on him while I was actively watching him because he liked playing with it. I did not leave him unattended with it, and I took it off pretty soon after too. I don't want him to hurt himself accidentally 🥀
