It’s as low effort as it comes, but sometimes straight to the point is nice

Look it wasn't an ai prompt and it's a hell of a lot more than I did so good job

Herbert is just a victim of circumstance.

Edit: To clear any confusion, this was meant sarcastically, using a quote from Tremors.

The circumstances of him not being very good, because he can't seem to perform unless the conditions around him are perfect. And also with low stakes (not playoffs, that is).

Somehow he will play like 2021 Herbert for one week, and it will be next week

Dude that's exactly what's gonna happen lmao

While I’m still pretty confident we win, I do strongly suspect he will be frustratingly competent this game. That this will be the first game of the year where he doesn’t have a turnover, or at least multiple turnovers, and at least by box score look efficient.

Tremors. Do yourself a favor this weekend.

Absolutely.  Fun creature horror movie.  A little campy, a little stupid, a little gore, not especially scary, but very entertaining

Most of all: realistic

It totally holds up to this day. Easily one of my favorite movies

Of that whole generation of creature horror movies it holds up the best, I think.  The creature effects were great, and it had that Jaws/Alien thing where you don’t actually see it that often.

lol there’s something I always find particularly unsettling about the kinds of effects for 80/90s horror movies.

Obviously this was the time I was a kid, so many that’s part of it. But the rubber molds the gratuitous fake blood. Man, still gives me the willies.

Fun fact. This is a prequel to Dune.

The sequels are a lot of fun too—even the direct to video ones.

This is one of those movies I saw when I was really little and because it's like the scariest thing I saw up to that point, lives deep in the recesses of my mind

Tremors

If you never seen, its a classic.

I love this movie! You gotta watch Tremors. It doesn't have any filler. For such a simple creature feature horror/thriller it has a great story, character development, and pretty good practical effects. You won't regret it!

first time i saw this movie was when i was around 5 years old and it scared the crap out of me and couldn't finish the movie. got nightmares out of it. years later i watched it completely and sorta liked it. as an adult i can reflect that it was a good movie. lol

For me that movie was Arachnophobia.

To this day as a grown-ass man I make sure to tap my lawnmowing shoes that I keep in the garage in case there's a killer spider hiding in there that will bite my toe and end me.

1

u/Dresden1984 13h ago

oh is that the movie where this amazonian spider mated with a brown recluse and swarm of insta death spiders was unleashed? i saw that once and that also gave me the heebie jeebies

1

u/factoid_ Grand Flagbearer of the Foul-uminati 13h ago

Yeah something along those lines. I don't remember if it was something with them mating or if it was just that spiders got transplanted from the rainforest into suburbia somehow.

I just know the giant spider at the end was horrifying.
