Agree, the game had so much content. I still had to clear that tower, was at floor 70 or so??..can't remember the name anymore lol.
Curious how summons work offline mode, or you still in progress?

P.S. when I say "never brought to a Console KOF", I'm referring to the Street Fighter Characters as Crossover DLC (untill Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves but that's it's own series), and The rule 63 aka "Genderbent" version of Characters as DLC (like Female Yashiro and Female Billy) (which ironically Female Terry and Miss X "aka" Female Iori, of which according to lore, Miss X was a male crossdressing Iori that got turned into a real female by Kukri, was made for SNK Gals' fighters (Miss X) and SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy (Female Terry and later Miss X) but was never brought to KOF All Stars), Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, ikari Warriors (and Metal Slug when Ralf, Clark and Leona were in Double X), and Psycho Solider all had reps in KOF

Soon, my friend. Reverse engineering is a ladder you have to climb one step at a time. First come the characters, then rebuilding their stats, skills, rarities, modes, and NPCs. I can't just hop into the game and have everything work magically. I have the skeleton, but the brain is dead. Rebuilding that brain from scratch takes a lot of time, patience, and energy.

I appreciate every work you've put to reviving the kofas but I must admit, If every chars are unlocked, people will not value it(imo). Also pls add time attack aswell if that isn't much work.

its going rather well but i cant focus solely on rebuilding the logic due the lack of data original data is encrypted and i dont have the key to decrypt what makes it easier for me is someone that had the game installed and still installed on their phone that cache data is a gold mine saves me weeks of data mining

Of the 447 characters you recovered, are the ones missing stats, types and rarities mostly the newer characters, or are they spread across the whole roster? And roughly how many are still missing complete data?

Shiiii alot of collabs. I remember loving this game then realizing how old it was and how late i was and only enjoyed the game for 6 months. Prob the best 6 months I had

Oh wow. I was a player of this from launch date. Sinked alot of money during gintama, Tekken, samsho, and Street fighter Collab. It'd be great to see this game back again, especially if I can use Collab characters too. š

well theres a table that has all characters id's name's rarities stars etc and its encrypted only way to open it is with a key that you can get from original server and the server is dead so i had to rewrite and mine for the character data its a painful job thats what retrieving means

well my friend its a complex process that i cant describe the whole scenario but imagine you find an iphone 7s in your closet it doesnt turn on anymore but you really want to bring it alive to use it once more like you used to so you try to fix and change parts etc thats what i am doing ;)

indeed the newly retrieved ones basically got no data no types no stats and no rarities i have to add them batch by batch currently only the characters cards animations and names are retrieved.

Damn, I used to have it up to the lastest version, but I thought nobody would take on a project like this. If it is any useful, I have JP and Global Versions on android installed up to the DoA collab.

First of all im not releasing it like a publisher its a personal fan project and hand it to other fans they are responsible for their own copy i make no money nor monetize nor gate way it and im not responsible for any mis using of the project i simply do not hurt or do anything that damages company's state im responsjble only for my copy and its private not public

Oh yeah, you should probably check the roles channel and react to get permission to see the other channels or ask one of the moderators to give you the permissions.
Just tell them you're the guy working on this project. Or tell me your server username and I'll ask one of the moderators.

Is the Dream Match Mode coming or no?
I missed this mode
I was playing KOF ARENA for a fair pvp and this game also got shut down back in November 14 2024 and I was getting even angrier at Netmarble and this company was forcing the KOF players to play the stupid idle game called KOF AFK a game with a fake pvp
Once you bring KOFAS back, No more pve (cpu loneliness)!
I was doing it for pvp so no more stat grinding and no more powercreep!

It's honestly a crime what happened with KOF ALL STARS. So much money sunk into this game and just piss poor management trying to chase the Whales...
