After spending so much time sculpting this little guy in ZBrush, I finally got to see him in physical form!

This is my Jurassic Park-inspired Compsognathus emerging from its egg, with a dragonfly caught in its mouth.

Everything was digitally sculpted by me and printed in resin using my new Anycubic Photon P1 Max.

It’s actually my first large-scale resin print with this machine, so I was especially excited to see how all those tiny details would turn out.

The skin textures, teeth, claws, eggshell, and delicate dragonfly all printed beautifully.

I still need to paint the sculpture, but I wanted to share the raw resin print with the community first.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about holding something you’ve spent hours creating digitally.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from fellow sculptors and dinosaur enthusiasts!

Has Evolution 3 finally taken the place of the best Jurassic park builder (Jurassic Franchise, excluding Prehistoric Kingdom etc)?

Or do you still feel Operation Genesis is the best Jurassic park builder?

I've never really interacted with the Jurassic community, so sorry if this has already been answered, but after rewatching CC for the first time in years, I realised that Big and Little Eatie were a mother and child from Isla Sorna, just like the ones from The Lost World, and I was wondering if they were the same

These two baby dinosaurs appeared in the first Jurassic Park novel, where little Lex, names both animals without a car win the world. I especially find Clarence interesting, because of his camouflaging capabilities. The fact that the raptors could camouflage also scares me because an InGen worker could see a baby raptor running about through the bushes and say, “That’s a well fed Compy!” 😭

(couldn’t find the right flair for this)

Here are the participants

The Pyroraptor

The Big One‘s pack

The Raptor Squad+Gamma and Beta

The Worker Village pack

The Sorna Tiger Pack

The Ile Saint Hubert pack

The Atrociraptors pack

Quillium, McFlurry and their Sorna Quilliam pack

Indoraptor

Scorpius Rex

Here are the rules:

1. This is a death match. So only one pack or raptor will survive.
2. No betrayal in packs. So one raptor won’t attack their own or join another.
3. This is at their peak. So blue’s pack is alive, the Big One’s has the other 5 she killed, etc.
4. Raptors can work together with other packs. For example the Raptor Squad and the Atrociraptors, can team up to go against others. However this can only be temporary and they will kill each other after.
5. Lastly this is on a island will be a multi day fight.
