Show and Tell! How to make a fall leaf stamp page!
I deleted my post from earlier because it got such good feedback I gave it another whirl to perfect it! I’m sure people would like to know how to make the same so here’s the details:
You’ll need a stamp punch and satin finish mod podge most of all, both are available on Amazon. I used this one from the “CYFUN” brand, but I’m sure most will work just make sure it’s the right size (1x0.82 inches).
When you gather leaves that you are taking them right from the trees to prevent curling and get the cleanest lines and most vibrant colours! I cut them out, sealing the backs of the stamps with mod podge on a sheet of wax paper and making sure they are completely dry before arranging them in a grid and sealing with a coat of mod podge covering the entire page next (see slides 2&3 for finished project)
Uncertain how well it’ll last up over time but hoping for the best I had a lot of fun searching for leaves and then arranging them:) By sealing both sides it should last fine but I expect the colours to fade a bit - if you really want to make them stay vibrant I’d try a sort of epoxy!
