Have a wonderful time if you’re going! 💙 I'm looking forward to a comprehensive debrief!

Hi! I'm a journalist (and Julien fan), and I'm writing an article about her show in Athens and fan reception to the in-person initial ticket release. If you queued to buy tickets for the Athens show and are interested/available to give a quick interview quote about your experience and thoughts on the arrangement, I'd love to talk with you! Feel free to comment or message me to connect. Thanks!

It was deleted from the Internet. I think it was about Astral Touch. I'm looking for it.

Does anyone know when the anniversary pressing is supposed to ship? It wasn’t listed as a preorder, but there’s no specific shipping date mentioned either. The photo in the email makes it look like the records are already pressed and ready to go, so I was just wondering if anyone’s order has shipped yet. 😅

clearly i am normal while waiting for jb4 😭

hey, im daniel. i play in TSL. sharing this because i'm excited for it.

A cutie lil JB inspired tattoo I got done today based on one of my favourite songs! Done by Amy Bliska / @amybliskatattoos in Edmonton 😍

Not aggressive pits where we’re punching people but a pushy jumpy pit would be njce. Please guys I yearn to mosh to lathe

You guys!! I love that you all get to experience these shows but I am BEGGING you, show up for the opener!!
I grew up with two members of Tombstone poetry who is opening for JB in Raleigh and they deserve all of the love.
Buy some merch, stay for their set and please shower them with all of the applause.
They have worked their ASSES off to get here and you will not regret listening to them!

Lost Time, Lost Weekend, and Lost…..?

the merch jb dropped from the blue room show!!!i had attempted getting tickets to that show since i’m local to nashville but that was seriously the fastest i have seen any show sell out ever!! not exactly sure how limited these were, but it’s easily my new favorite shirt 🥹

I actually had tickets to her small venue show last time and could not make it in the end. I really want to see her live. I really would prefer it be an intimate small venue show, she seems to prefer those as well. Edit: Trisate meaning NY/NJ/CT or other surrounding areas

Anyone have any info/speculation?

let's see the sneakers hooper

Okay I am stretching the meaning of weekly quite far with these intervals... but I'm back again.

This week’s song is Appointments.

Some discussion prompts if you’re looking for somewhere to start:

• What was your first impression of the song?
• Has your interpretation changed over time?
• Which lyric stands out to you the most, and why?
• How do you think it fits within Julien’s wider catalogue?
• Do you have a favourite live performance or recording of it?

The song gradually builds towards the repeated “I have to believe that it is” at the end. How does that line feel to you — hopeful, uncertain, resigned, or something else? Does its meaning change for you as it’s repeated?

Of course, you don’t need to answer any of these — feel free to share whatever comes to mind.

Happy listening! ❤️

I predict I'm going to feel very awkward for the first 10-15 minutes then I'm going to stop caring. Anybody else ever go to a concert alone before?

I’ve seen a few comments saying some of these shows didn’t sell out and the extra tickets may go on sale (online) today. I’m desperately trying to get a ticket to one of the shows at 40 Watt in Athens GA. If any of you see anything please help a fellow Bakerhead. Thank you!

I'm a little obsessed with all the new songs but High in the Basement has been on a loop for a bit. Curious what others make of the lines

What I want I do

the opposite of

love is isolation

I love that this can be interpreted as either "What I want I do. The opposite of love is isolation." Or "What I want I do the opposite of. Love is isolation."

Do you think this is meant to be interpreted as one way over the other? Or both ways?
