Hi! I'd like some feedback on my accent. People understand me when I speak, but I want to improve a few things: I struggle to pronounce the different "e" sounds correctly (especially knowing when to say é or è), and the nasal vowels en/an and in.
Here's the text I read. My intonation isn't very natural because I was focusing on articulation, but meh.
Merci !

Is the general indian English accent that hard to understand?
Being born and brought up in India, i really never found it hard to understand obviously, but non indians have a great deal of trouble understanding indian english.
Sorry if I sound choppy I have cold.

I'd appreciate any feedback on my accent and how easy I am to understand. Also, feel free to guess where I'm from!

Hi,
I’m an actor and as you might’ve guessed from the title a Mississippi accent is required of me. I was wondering whether there’s anyone here that’s able and willing to help me with this. At the very least a recording of them speaking in their (preferably) natural accent of about 2 minutes would be extremely helpful. Then again, if anyone has more than a couple of minutes and could even record some lines… I would be forever grateful.
Thanks!

Another short recording of a native speaker, different accent this time. No hints. What do you hear in it, region, specific sounds, anything. I will share the answer once a few people have guessed.

Hi everyone!
I'm preparing for my English speaking exam and working on my Received Pronunciation / British accent.
Could a native speaker from the UK kindly record a short voice note reading this text aloud? It would help me immensely to hear the natural rhythm, intonation, and phrasing!
Here is the text:
Variant 1: What is a snowflake? Nothing special. It is just a small piece of snow that falls from the sky. Why do people feel so delighted to see the first snow and dream of a White Christmas? There is something magical in a snowflake indeed. Made of clear ice, it looks white because the light is reflected between the sides of the crystal. Each snowflake differs from another, and people have always tried to find two identical ones. Wilson Bentley, an American photographer, is known for taking photos of snowflakes. He began his experiment in 1885 and carried it on for many years. Bentley’s collection of snowflakes contains more than 5,000 photos, and every single snowflake in it is unique.
Variant 2: Lifetime learning is a trend of our time. The knowledge and skills one gets at school or university are never enough. Why is it like that? And does this mean we have to learn as long as we live? Probably, yes. Life is more dynamic and changeable than it used to be, and all the processes are accelerating. While new jobs appear, many popular professions may become unnecessary and disappear. The statistical information says that by the end of the year 2024, there were around 5,000 people employed by the Bank of England. In a few years, AI will take a lot of their jobs, and the people will have to learn new skills. Creativity and the ability to adapt are key factors for professional success nowadays.
You can record it via Vocaroo and drop the link in the comments.
Thank you so much in advance for your help! 🙏

I’ve been recording videos of myself doing English speaking practice (mostly imitation/shadowing drills inspired by mmmEnglish). I want to track my progress, but I really need feedback on my pronunciation, flow, and delivery.
What apps, websites, or tools do you usually use to get feedback on already recorded videos? I'm looking for both AI tools and community platforms (preferably free options if possible).
Any recommendations or tips on how you review your own practice videos would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
