Last month was my first time ever buying a brand new vehicle off the lot. I was terrified, never done anything like it before. My previous vehicle was an older wrangler bought used, so traded that one in and got this one. Anyway, I'm a bit of a photographer as a hobby and got a brand new camera around the same time as well, so just wanted to try out the new camera on the new jeep ✌🏼
I was trying to explain to my coworker what I meant when I said my Jeep drives really nice. It's not like regular car nice but for a Jeep it's pretty great!

Stock suspension with sway bar links and track bars removed. Tires are 33 x 12.5. It does good enough for what I use it for.

I’ve handled lemon law cases against FCA (Stellantis), including Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrids. A lot of owners are stuck in an endless cycle of repairs and don’t know they have rights. Here’s the short version for DC-area owners.
1. DC has its own lemon law. It covers new vehicles bought in DC that have a defect that substantially impairs use, value, or safety, and that the manufacturer can’t fix within a reasonable number of attempts during the protection period. If it qualifies, you can be entitled to a replacement vehicle or a refund, minus an allowance for the miles you drove before the problem first showed up.
2. The presumption is easier to reach than people think. A “reasonable number of attempts” is generally presumed after about four repair attempts for the same problem, or after the vehicle has been out of service for a cumulative 30 days or so. One serious safety defect can get there faster.
3. Federal law covers more than state lemon laws do. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a federal statute that lets you sue when a manufacturer breaches its written warranty. It can apply when the state lemon law doesn’t, for example after the lemon law period has run or when the car was bought somewhere else. The key feature is that a winning consumer can recover attorney’s fees from the manufacturer, so a lot of these cases cost the owner nothing out of pocket.
4. Recalls don’t take away your rights. A recall is the manufacturer admitting there’s a problem. It isn’t a fix by itself. If your vehicle sat waiting for parts, or the recall repair didn’t solve the problem, that time and those visits can count.
5. Paperwork wins these cases. Get a repair order every time you take the vehicle in, even when the dealer says “could not duplicate.” Make sure each repair order states your complaint in your words. Keep track of the days the car was out of service and the loaner records. Send written notice to the manufacturer, not just the dealer.
6. Don’t trade it in out of frustration first. Selling or trading the vehicle before you talk to a lawyer can seriously hurt your claim.
General information only, not legal advice for your situation. Commenting doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship.

Hi all. I’m on the struggle bus here with too much information and my head is spinning. Bear with me so I can set the stage. The white Jeep was something my wife and I bought a year ago brand new and drove home to Kansas from San Diego. It was an impulse buy and was not what I would have picked but I did like the way the lift looked. None of that matters now because a 73 year old lady ran a red light and totaled my jeep so now I’m going to get what I want but I’m starting from scratch whereas the white Jeep was all done before I bought it.
The black Jeep is the look I’m going for but I know I won’t get all the way there because I’m not a professional baseball player. Lol. I’m purchasing a black 2026 Sahara. I want to have tires that are around 35 so I’ve been told I need a 2in lift? I don’t really care about the size of the rims but I want Matte Satin Black as that will be the color of the wrap I get. I’ve considered getting a Rubicon but I’ve been told it has lots of features I don’t need.
One of my biggest problems is I feel like the white Jeep was just a little taller than I wanted and it felt like an off road Jeep when I drove it. i despised driving it on the interstate. Also I will not be driving this Jeep off road nor will it be a daily driver. It will just be a Jeep I use for baseball, going to the gym etc. so it won’t get driven everyday. I want it to look sort of ruggish and manly but ride nicer if that makes sense.
Budget isn’t a main concern but I don’t need the best of everything either. So I guess knowing I won’t be off roading or climbing anything what are good tires, wheels that I can get on this that are high quality but won’t bankrupt me? I also kind of like when the tires stick out a little bit so hopefully a bigger tire will do that cause I heard spacers are bad. And what’s a good lift that just helps me with the bigger tires but doesn’t need to perform off-road?
I’m no expert at this and you can’t hurt my feelings. The Jeep isn’t purchased yet so looking for all feedback and you all seem pretty damn knowledgeable. Thank you for any advice!
Took the jeep and the family on an adventure to Box Canyon and it was awesome. After 4 days of storms there were even some puddle which was a bonus!

I have a 2004 wrangler sport. 4.0 i6 NV3550 transmission. 83k original miles
I have had a weird issue with the idle wanting to rev up between shift, before falling to normal. I know that the throttle body needs to be cleaned ive just been putting it off. Well now im getting the super low idle rpm. to the point its almost cutting off when sitting still.
So im finally going to clean my throttle body and redo the seals. My question is, the original owner of my wrangler put a cold air intake on it with the throttle body spacer. Would it be beneficial to seek out an oem filter intake hose and go back stock? I believe cold air intakes are pointless, but since its already installed should i just keep it? Could it be contributing to my air idler issues im facing?
Just curious what other people who have more knowledge may suggest.

I'm not exactly sure what it's called, or how critical it is. I'm not even sure that the wire plugged into this actually does anything after looking at how messed up it appears to be. But, anyone know what this is called so I can replace it?

EDIT: I think I got it! https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ECHTS6713 Temp Sensor. At least I think that's what it is, but I've also got what I thought was a temp sensor on the side of the block.

Jeep Wrangler 2017 Sport. 111k miles.
Symptoms:
- AC broken for about 3ish years. Unsure if this is related but happened right around when our car got rained on when my brother left it out with the top off. Heat and blower work just fine. Refrigerant pressure is good and charged. Checked this with mechanic and he said everything mechanically is good, some reading is making it say its -9573 degrees outside so AC clutch wont engage.
- Radio doesn’t work but sometimes will come to life randomly (and scare the shit out of me)
- Wipers were jittery and only worked on max for a bit and just today totally kicked out.
- CEL has been on for 3ish months now with a O2 sensor high voltage error. I replaced the O2 sensor and cleared the code but it hasnt gone away.
are we cooked? Anyone know any Indianapolis Jeep mechanics? Should I rip MAKS TIPM repair or try to take to dealer?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I need some advice and some info. So I've been having an issue with my E Throttle ever since I bought my used 2015 Patriot. I THINK I may have narrowed it down to either the air filter or the wiring. Basically periodically the E Throttle light will come on and flash randomly while driving or even at start up. My buddy thinks it could be an air leak but I haven't found any cracks or anything in the hoses so far. The air filter is super old though and definitely needs changed which I'll be doing tomorrow. The throttle body and the pedal sensor have all been changed out and it still throws that flashing light and same code P2138. Might anyone have any other idea as to the cause of this issue?
Also when checking the filter I noticed this plug that isn't plugged into anything. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Need some help with an issue.
Had the death wobble for the first time on my way home and had to come to a complete stop for it to stop. Drove about 3 hours today and had the same thing happen. Noticed my truck was over heating, pulled over and put coolant in it since the tank was empty but the reservoir was full. Drove about another 2 hours and it over heated again, reservoir was empty. Put coolant in it, made it home but there is a small portion of the coolant missing.
Any ideas as to what’s going on? My fan has always ran when driving the truck so I’m wondering what the issue may really be.
2021 wrangler JL 3.6.
I bought my 2008 Jeep Wrangler brand new back then, and now it is completely rusted underneath, and the frame has some cracks. I live in New England, with snowy, cold winters. I am still driving it, but it will need to be replaced within the next year. Yes, a reputable mechanic evaluated it, but I already knew that.
Any thoughts on purchasing a new Jeep, like a 2026? I have considered maybe a Willy's?

Looking for actual pics of both a 60 inch and a 50 inch cargo carrier, folded up against the back of the Compass. Trying to decide which to get. Both would fulfill my main need of carrying my mobility scooter. Thanks

Update: Squeezed even more MPG out of my hybrid now at 46.8 MPG! 🔥
Since my last post, I’ve managed to bump up my fuel economy to 46.8 MPG, getting dangerously close to 47 MPG. 😂
Honestly, I’m impressed considering how much this vehicle weighs. This is a mix of city driving, suburban roads, and freeway driving.
The biggest MPG killer? Highway speeds. Cruising at 70–80 MPH drops me down to around 38–40 MPG.
Right now, my estimated range on a full tank is 633 miles, and it costs roughly $40–50 to fill up. Not bad at all for a vehicle of this size.
Ignore the orange warning light — I turned off the forward collision warning system.
Honestly, this is why I think hybrids, when engineered and implemented properly, are the future of commuting. Good range, excellent fuel economy, and fewer stops at the gas station. Just makes sense to me.
How’s everyone else doing with their MPG? Anyone consistently getting 47+ in a vehicle this size?

Does anyone have a lead for Bi Xenon headlight assemblies both sides for my 2011 Overland? They’re affordable for halogen but crazy expensive for the Bi Xenon.
