Check out my Jaguar! Time to take the lady out for a drive
Love this car so much. Had her 2 years. Fixed a few issues due to age, but I’m close to making her my daily.

Dear Jag friends,
I wanted to share a dream with you, which I had last night. A friend of mine who I really estimate, is an architect and she likes cats a lot. In my dream she came to the construction side, with her new car. It was a muddy road to the building and the car handled it perfectly. It was a new Jaguar especially made for architects so they can enter the construction side with class and style. Thanks to AI I could recreate the exact appearence from my dream.
I hope you like it

Hi all, Sorry for another post asking for help, but I’m hoping someone might be able to identify a missing plastic clip/holder from my 2015 F-Type V6.
It’s located near the coolant expansion tank and hangs underneath the metal cross-brace at the front of the engine bay. From what I can tell, it holds a hose or wiring loom in place.
I’ve attached a couple of photos showing its location, including one from another F-Type with the clip still fitted.
Does anyone know what this part is called, have a part number, or know where I could get a replacement?
I’ve searched through the Jaguar parts diagrams but haven’t had much luck.
Really appreciate everyone’s help. Thanks again!
Auto parts place sold me the ones on the right to replace the OEM ones that are getting eaten up. No way this is compatible right? It fits and went on but It's sketching me out they're a completely different style.

I'm thinking this is a '67 E-Type Coupe. After doing some Google-Fu I'm confused. Is this also an XKE? ...and could it be a '68? Is there any way to tell from this view?
It's a nice-looking vehicle no matter.

Hi all, so recently got my 2015 F Type back after a respected specialist changed my coolant pipes due to the dreaded Y Pipe leak. Also there was also a slight oil leak from the pump that was resolved. The car now runs even better than when I first bought it 3 months ago, and somehow I can actually hear the supercharger better.
However after driving for about 15 minutes / 6 miles, l've got this noticeable ticking sound. Can anyone help me or had a similar experience?

I have a 2010 jaguar xf 4.2 with 109k miles. I changed my spark plugs beginning of the summer and then got a transmission fluid change two weeks ago. Anyway i been noticing a heavy fuel smell past few days so I popped the hood while the car was on and noticed from the fuel injector on the passenger side it looked like a tiny leak. I was also able to hear what sounds like a hissing sound. I've been noticing my car driving sluggish too and delayed engagement into second and third gear. Are fuel injector leaks common anyone else got experience with this ? Appreciate the help

With all the media coverage on that Type 01 I took some pride in washing my trusty 2008 Jag over the weekend, it was absolutely reeking manky. I'll not be swapping this for a Type 01 because I know I wouldn't like it. I'm not quite sure what this means for Jaguar but people that have older models I think they will be like myself and just glad with what they have because Jaguar did make some tremendous vehicles, remember that they had a 2.5 billion pound profit in 2014.
Diesel Engines were terrible for the company, absolutely damaged their reputation especially the 2L Diesel - widespread reliability negative discussions all over the internet tarnished their reputation too - some of it warranted more of it not so much. They generally sold far fewer vehicles so any issues people have had would have been getting far more negative attention especially in the last 15 odd years with the age of social media as opposed to say BMW a company who sold probably a 100 fold increase in vehicles but who weren't angels themselves.
I think it's bad management - poor marketing and the mass availability of all the German vehicles which were used as pool vehicles and which people people got on attractive lease schemes, Jaguar could never reach this level of competition - BMW and Audi did diesel engines better too. But the V8s is what made Jaguar, I specifically got a 4.2 because it's just a wonderful thing it uses up zero oil between changes and just wafts around at 100mph hardly moving past 2k RPM. It's a tremendous engine and sounds wonderful, I drive on B roads and heading to work in the morning I often drive through a short cut birds hear the engine in advance and scatter all over the place..I'm not even driving quickly it's actually quite muted in the cabin but outside not so much. You can actually feel the resonant hum of the engine when you touch the accelerator at around 2-3 rpm. So it softens the petrol fill ups somewhat.. which are quite frequent it has to be said. Potholes on the other hand are always a grave danger, I've memorized about 90 square miles of roads around me and I wish that was a joke. The upper and lower control arms on this are all from the factory, they won't be cheap to replace and I know most of the suspension parts aren't even available anymore.
The 5L uses direct injection which runs at very high pressure and puts far more stress on the engine plus the lower viscosity oil isn't helping with the weakened timing chain tensioners.
There's still a huge amount of people driving Jags, it's not the end of the world - the future is uncertain but the past has created enough William Lyons heritage to fill out showrooms.

Spotted this back in 2021 on two separate occasions (June and July), with this set being from the second occasion. Got these from my archives.
Based on comments I saw when I had this elsewhere back then, this was a restomod with an LS swap.

I'm looking at a 1997 XK8 4.0 litre that is for sale, and the seller has said it has the following issues:
Indicators don't click but lights work.
Sometimes the wipers work, sometimes they stop.
Sometimes the electric windows don't behave etc.
Are any of these/combination of these likely to be a complicated fix? Anything I should be worried about?
Thanks.

Hi, I’m looking to buy a Jaguar XF, the 2.2 diesel model from 2013-2014 with the 8hp gearbox. What should I expect from this car and what should I avoid? I’m trying to find a really good spec with full service history and with Meridian and the Premium Luxury package
