I've gone down the sub and realized no one has really commented on this.

A Case Study of the Long Term Effects of Young Love:
When I first read the title of this project I got so excited because, for one, it had been more than three full years since we had last gotten an official Jaden release and two, the long term effects of young love is something that I have personal experience with as I'm sure most of you do as well. So you can imagine my disappointment when I listened to the project for the first time. It was honestly lackluster and not deserving of its own name. After 3 years of surviving off of unreleased songs he posts on YouTube this is what he gives us? Now I don't think I'm an ungrateful person. With that being said, Roses is a phenomenal song and The Coolest P2 is exactly what I've been needing from J. The other two songs I guess are just not for me because I genuinely can't listen to them. I just think to myself, why would he drop these? I guess they can't all be winners.

A Surrealist Ball or Elephants Reflecting Swans:
Upon my first listen to Red Cloaks, and subsequently A Surrealist Ball, I felt like it was a regression in his artistry. I'll admit I wasn't expecting much but compared to all of the "unreleased" songs he uploads to YouTube it felt like he didn't even try to progress with these songs. It felt like ERYS but not really. This project is different because there are only 3 songs instead of 4 and all 3 of them are fire! I'm not sure what direction he's taking he's music in now because at first I thought it was messages for the youth and now he's talking about "fatty ass, big tits" which I guess I don't mind but it is completely left field for a guy like Jaden to rap about. But at least A Surrealist Ball is consistent. All 3 songs have a very similar vibe and you can tell he was trying to do ERYS fan service.

All in all I was upset with the quality of these projects at first but after listening for a while they've grown on me and actually became some of my favorite songs by him. I hope that he goes full ERYS soon. The people yearn for EBFY. Anyway, what do you all think?

i always go back to this snippet, it goes so hard i’m inlove with the erys era 🫆🔏
