From 12-2 on Saturday we will gather to say No Kings and encourage everyone to vote early or just VOTE. There will be banners on the bridge over 13 but only people holding banners can stay in the bridge for safety. Gather on the sidewalks on each side of the bridge.
You can park at Cayuga Mall and The Shops at ithaca lot. If walking that far is difficult there are some spaces in the lot where Applebees used to be.
If you have to cross Triphammer there are only 2 crosswalks which you must use. Patronize the businesses up there afterwards.

I’m in a bit of a bind and need someone to hem a dress for me. The usual tailors, like John’s, K’s, and Slow Hill, aren’t available because I need it by this coming Wednesday, October 21st. Does anyone have a hobby of hemming clothes and could help me shorten my dress? It shouldn’t be too complicated, but I’m in a hurry! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any recommendations for snow plow/removal services that can clear a very long driveway (well over 600ft). I’ll be new to the area and will need help when it snows.

I’m not sure how to search for who may do it, or how the service options are defined and set up. Is it per time, or based on snow depth, etc.

While packing my car to go away for the week, I made the mistake of forgetting to put my suitcase in the car. I must have left it by the side of the road on Giles St. in between the bridge over the gorge and Hudson street.

It’s a small maroon suitcase with wheels. If anyone found it or is close enough to go look, I would deeply appreciate it. I’ll reward $100 if found.

I’ve been seeing small business use AI everywhere. It’s exhausting to get bombarded with awful graphics, and fake food images that don’t even look like what their actual food is. So, look up articles on the awful things AI is trying to take away from us…..CREATIVITY.

It’ll take you a little longer to figure out how you want to present your business put it’ll help you in the long run to create your own image for your business. There are graphic design students in both universities (TC3, Cornell, Ithaca College), kids from highschool that work on graphic design through their art class as well, and SO MANY LOCAL ARTISTS. There are multiple youtube videos on how to create your own graphic designs and canva templates are free to use. You just need 5 templates and keep recycling them throughout your socials!

Just give us the photos of real food, make menus easier to read, and stop bombarding us with BS that we don’t want.

I also find it hypocritical that people are against the data centers being on Cayuga lake while people use AI to generate fake images of themselves with the upcoming “trend” that’s going on. Shame👏🏼on👏🏼you

Go online, do your research, see the impacts of AI. If you’re still having a hard time understanding, keep educating yourself. Don’t let these elites turn us into sheep.

I need to frame several pieces of original art for a gallery opening in November. I know that some places like Michael’s can do it but I would prefer someone local (and hopefully inexpensive). I just don’t think I have the skills or knowledge to do it myself!

Is anyone missing a cat? Saw one in caguya heights several times recently. Looks healthy, friendly with no collar.

Also, are there any rescue organizations in Ithaca who will be willing to help trap the cat, so he/she can go to a safe home.
