B1 language exam

Does anyone have any recommendations for studying for B1 language exam. Any book, website, online course etc. I'm based in Rome and work and study and it's just hanging over my head that I need to get this sorted to start my czn app, but I need to do it productively with a plan instead of wasting a bunch of time like I usually do 😂

Your best tool might be a tutor over the internet. I know some who specialize in exam prep.

Hi! Firstly, between the most popular/recognised exam centres I find PLIDA to be the easiest as it doesn't have specific grammar exercises. You can find practice tests online for any exam type and level. The next day is mid November, so you can try to make that!

Generally I'd recommend actual courses. B1 is the level necessary to get your papers so language schools have a lot of experience with it so if you can afford it (time and money wise) they'll know exactly what you need to pass.

Hi, if you are interested in CILS exam, I recommend the book 'Percorso CILS B1', and the exams that you can download from the 'Università per stranieri di Siena' site. There are also videos on youtube about the exam.

Also, you can search CPIA centers ('Centro per l'istruzione degli adulti') where you live. Often they offer free courses to prepare for the exam.

The B1 CILS guide. It has a bunch of practice exams and prompts for the oral. The Università di Siena per Stranieri also has former exams you can use for practice: https://cils.unistrasi.it/1/98/Esami_CILS.htm
