My daughter got a small hole in her pants next to the waistband and side seam and so far I’ve ironed in some stretch interfacing but I don’t know how to reinforce it. I have some matching polyester thread and sharp sewing needles or I can use a machine. How do I fix it so she can wear them without reopening the tear?

hi! completely new to mending, wondering if I could get some tips on mending spots in this type of fabric, I don't have any fabric to cut off and bring to colour match, so any tips on that is welcome!

I have an older Burr jacket that has some big holes in the elbows from wear. Is there canvas or good martial patches to fix them? Love how the jacket has aged and want to keep it going. It’s olive.

Regrettably the garment is in worse shape than the seller advertised. I understand felting is easy and delivers good results for garments like woollen knitwear, but I dont think it would be appropriate for a garment with a structured twill weave such as this.
So I'm looking at invisible darning/Swiss darning as my mending method, but I've never done it before and am quite confused about how to go about it. Also whether I should even bother attempting it myself.
Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks

Leaned against a hot stove and burned my favourite jacket, it has a lot of sentimental value because it was my dad's for many many years. I'm very sad. Anyone have tips on how I can mend this?
I have sewing supplies and okay sewing skills. I've mended socks before...
If anyone could give me some advice I'd be very very happy.

I bought this Vince top secondhand, and I'm not sure if I didn't notice the pleats were messed up in the middle when I got it or.if they somehow fell out in storage. Can these be restored by a dry cleaner? Tailor? Does it look like someone steamed or ironed this, or could this just be from being stored incorrectly?

The fabric is of poor quality but its not stretchy. I really am not sure where or now to even begin, any suggestions?

The button top came off the peg. Lee won’t send out a new button and this is a rare jacket so they can’t replace it.

My daughter's boyfriend has a t-shirt that he cares about very much but his dog tore it to shreds. He wants to know if I can fix it. Obviously I cannot make it look like it should but I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out how to make it look good enough to wear again. All I have is this video of the shirt. I hope this helps. Thank you for your advice EDIT I have tiny little Stones I don't know what they're called tiny little bedazzle stones that I can put on a patch to mend the middle somehow

Hello! I have some pillowcases that I’ve owned for many years and are so comfy. The fabric is thinning in a few places and I’m not sure how to repair it. It’s a cotton/linen blend, if that affects things at all. TIA!

Can you help me here?
This is not the only one.
It’s 100% cotton.

I harvested parts from a perfectly healthy cookie to restore a broken one. The transplant was somewhat successful. The donor was not.
Does this count as invisible mending, or have I just committed a crime against cookies? 😂
