My account is ruined because i decided to go full ham on asuna birthday banner. I watch a YouTube video that says this banner should not be skip but all i got from this banner is trash skill record. The funny thing is that there's also a video that explains why I shouldn't pull Alice seasonal banner but I got good skills record from that banner which much more better than Asuna banner. I also thinking like with Alice banner you guaranteed a 4* skills records fro every 11 pulls but for Asuna banner you need to complete 3 steps and the results is not guaranteed. So i had a hard time on why lots of people say to pull only for birthday banner but to avoid Alice seasonal banner.

Accounts not ruined you just learned how Gacha works you’re not guaranteed anything in Gacha.

This is a gacha game. You simply got unlucky on Asuna's banner and you got lucky on Alice's banner.

You're guaranteed a 4* skill record, sure, but that means very little by itself.

For example, what are the odds of that guaranteed skill being a good skill record? It may be a skill record that came out 7 years ago and hasn't been useful in just as much time. Is getting an insanely weak 4* skill record really any different from getting no 4* skill record?

I absolutely feel you because exactly same thing happened with me. I did entire 3 rotations spending 18.7k AG (meaning 99 skills) and despite with the odds I cannot get any featured skill only useless 4 Stars.

I have been playing from a good while and only birthday banners are supposed to be better than the rest of all but this Asuna banner was absolutely trash somehow.

I tried looking at the mathematical probability for the drop rates of the two combined both featured skills and here's the probability of getting it with respect to the rotations.

And basically even after 6 full rotations (nearly 38k AG and 198 skills), roughly 1 in every 9 players (10.8%) all doing 6 rotations will still walk away empty-handed due to raw probability variance.

If the banner did not have any issues with it meaning we just happened to be very unlucky.

Bwahaha...no, there is 25% chance at step 3 to get Asuna full burst non elemental new gen, which is very strong and will be viable for most content up to lava and can be used in thrust GOG, thrust challenge or even to bruteforce weaker bosses...on other hands we have Alice banner on which most skills are outdated and few that are still usable are bound to 1 element weakness, chance to get something good in that banner is like idk 2%...so yeah guy in video was correct, Asuna is better and have better chances for good skill. You just experienced gacha effect and lost 25% gamble and won 2% gamble, but you won't be winning like this long term, math is math. I once spend 80k AG on banner and still didn't get what I wanted, then lost 50k on other banner and didn't get what I wanted. Then I pull first step and pull 2x 0.06% chance usefully skills...GACHA

Meh the skill is good but if you want to farm future content its going to be outclassed by specific elements. Its ok that you didnt get it

Bro, that's how gacha works
Even I didn't get that MR, We know which youtube video you are talking about. It's their opinion based on the facts they know. At a higher level, you can easily farm arcana gems. So, not an issue for them, but it is ultimately your decision of whether you really want it or not.
