I hate how everytime you meet a loser they have a dog. Like some loser moves into the apartment beside yours. No job no nothing but they have a dog. The first thing I did when that happened to me was Google if food stamps can buy dog food. Turns out nope. It doesn't. I would legit lobby for that. If even 20 bucks of those stamps goes towards some Purina instead of chips and soda I would gladly pay a little more taxes.

Bro you are so right. That doesn't even cover it. I hate irresponsible dog owners. I fear that one day my neighbors dog will have an emergency and need to be taken to the vet and they won't have a way to do it or pay for it. I fear I'll be at work and won't be here to take them to an emergency vet if something happens.

I was the passenger in a car that got rear ended this year. The driver was also distracted by the dog in his car. I wonder if this happens often.

It does happen often. Animals are unknown quantities that will do things you don't expect no matter how well trained. They should never be in the front seat and restricted to some degree no matter what for basic safety of everyone in the vehicle.

I keep my dog in the front seat. The front passenger seat. With a harness that is buckled in with the seatbelt. She has enough room to move and adjust herself on the seat and to stick her nose out the window.

Driving and holding a dog like this is crazy. Even if you are the best driver on the road, shit happens. A perfectly well behaved dog may still panic and run into traffic after an accident too

Kennels or harnesses that clip into the seatbelts are way safer for them

I don't know if that's swelling around the eye or an actual swollen eyeball, could've been alot worse though very lucky it came out relatively unscathed
