Islamophobia I'm sorry Parvez we failed you he's an activist who took stand for hate speech against muslim women by Yogi he was jailed n made abandon by both secular party and muslim

The death of social activist Pervez Parwaz occurred some day in Gorakhpur Jail.

Pervez Parwaz has been continuously protesting Yogi Adityanath's communal actions since 2007, as a result of which cases were also filed against Yogi, due to which Pervez Parwaz always remained in Yogi's crosshairs. Yogi Adityanath conspired against him by getting his own people to file false cases, as a result of which he had been imprisoned in Gorakhpur District Jail since 2018.

Pervez Parwaz's death while in jail does not seem natural he was already suffering from sickness and he was made to die a painful lonely death

How many muslim community know about him ? Ask yourself

How many did post about him ? Meanwhile muslim have all the time to post for CJP dipke and others

When Parvez filed case it was during Samajwadi Party rule

Not only so called Secular party shielded Yogi but turned a blind eye to Parvez arrest

This is the humiliation of UP muslim that had to vote for such Secular party who don't even protect minority rights and leave them to die

Yogi hateful speech is still online available where he said "100 muslim girls shall be kidnapped in revenge"

Yet Indian police and our so called law order of secular constitution did nothing

If we as muslim community don't stand up for those fellow activist or show moral support on social media i don't think anyone else will cause neither our Secular political parties care nor majority hindus do Infact Yogi went on to get majority vote and became CM by hindus while Biswa and others compete who can give more bloodthirsty genocidal calls

I will still firmly say this biggest lie told to muslim is indian law is same for all or constitution is for all or India is Secular country Wake up to reality in nowhere in secular country leader gives genocidal calls and gets vote cheering lynching gets support by police and garlanded muslim gets killed for being muslim and doesn't even get justice

The sad reality is i came to know about this case through a Foreign infouncer https://x.com/ragebait_krungi/status/2110229714732478930?s=2

News Today, Supreme Court of india has given signs of removing Muslim OBC status. Previously, same thing was tried to be done with SC/ST status. SC status is already removed. Reason given is there is no untouchability in Islam. Argument is there is no untouchability in Sikhism, Buddhism but their status.

General I have decided to prepare

Salam. So a few days ago, I posted that my father has a small scrap business, so shall I help him or prepare for forest services. There were mixed suggestions. I decided to listen to my heart

I have decided to prepare because it's my dream job, I really don't like this business much, it would be my last resort.

I have always loved to be in nature, during my college days also, I would visit national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, etc. Never went to cinemas and clubs

I am already 28 (male), and my parents are requesting me to get married but when it comes to career and marriage, I would always choose career. I just want to get into forest services

Thank you everyone who gave me suggestions, it really means a lot

General This isn’t Islamophobia and It really didn’t start after 2014!

This is an uncomfortable topic because some people would rather not admit what they’ve already noticed. It’s easier to believe that the other group doesn’t hate you, so we explain away the signs. I’m hoping to talk with people willing to look at this honestly.

This didn’t start in 2014. Anyone who grew up in India before the current ruling party came to power can probably relate. In my view, the hostility didn’t begin then. It just became more visible.

Is it Islamophobia, or something else? After 9/11, much of the hostility toward Muslims in America could reasonably be called Islamophobia: fear fueled by unfamiliarity and media narratives. But Hindus and Muslims have lived side by side in India for centuries. I find it hard to believe all of this is simply media influence, especially in a country where people are so skeptical of authority and institutions. Propaganda works best when it confirms what people already want to believe.

What I’ve personally noticed, Beyond the usual T£rror!sm related taunts, I’ve often heard remarks aimed at Islam itself, at our beliefs, practices, and religion, not just at Muslims as people not to mention that joke is on them but these are hypocrites we are talking about. Many of the people making them try hard not to show it, but in the middle of a taunt or an argument, it slips out that their problem goes deeper than politics or news headlines.

Take the hijab. Nobody is afraid of a scarf. The contempt some people show toward women who wear it doesn’t look like fear of terrorism or unfamiliarity to me. It looks like a dislike of a visible expression of Islam. If the concern were really about choice, it wouldn’t show up as pressure to take it off, or as bans that take the choice away from women who want to wear it. I can’t read anyone’s heart, but that explanation doesn’t match what I’ve seen. That and Ofcourse many such instances besides that what makes me think it isn’t only fear or prejudice, but resentment toward the religion itself. I’m speaking from my own experience, and I know others may have seen it differently. A small everyday example: In the US, my family and I can pray quietly in an isolated corner of a park without anyone staring or reacting. In India, people often look at you as if you’re committing a crime. They may not confront you directly, but you’ll get condescending remarks or unsolicited lectures about what you’re doing. I also think about Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:82, which describes the Jews and polytheists as among the most hostile toward believers, and Christians as among the most gracious.

P.S:- I’ve lived in the USA for 23 years. In all that time, I’ve never experienced the kind of prejudice toward myself or my family that I’ve experienced in India. What i see in India isn’t phobia rather it’s genuine hostility.

Religious How can one deny Allah?

🌿 How can you deny Allah? 🤍

You were once lifeless, and Allah gave you life. He will cause you to die, then bring you back to life, and ultimately, to Him you will all return. 🤲

✨ Never forget your Creator. Every breath is a blessing, every moment is an opportunity to turn back to Allah, and this life is a test before the Hereafter.

💭 A Question for You:

If Allah gave you life and everything you have, are you living your life in a way that pleases Him?

📖 Qur’an — Surah Al-Baqarah (2:28)

💬 Tell us in the comments: What reminds you most of Allah and the Hereafter?

🤲 May Allah guide us, strengthen our Iman, and grant us a beautiful return to Him. Ameen.

title, assalamualaikum khairiyat

coming to bangalore for very tiny stay of about 2-3d max, any muslim friendly space like dorm/hostel would be appreciated. I'll be there only to sleep in the night mostly I'll be out

the main concern is to pray, there should be space for that. hence searched and came to know* about pocket friendly zostel and gostops (ok with paying 300-500rs)

but is it prayer friendly like i should be able to pray isha and fajr mostly

areas preferred are around richmond and shantinagar space please. if the space is better at some nearby place i can manage but my preference is priority

checked with relatives and friends but of no use they are full. don't want to spend 1k just for sleeping hence the query.

note: I'm not fine to be around people who smoke drink etc

jazakallahu khairan

General 24M, earning well in Bangalore, but feeling lonely and questioning what I’m working towards

I’m 24M, working as a software engineer in Bangalore, earning around 25–30 LPA. On paper, I think I’m doing pretty well for my age. But honestly, I feel disconnected from everything.

I live alone in Bangalore, and most of my family lives in North India. I grew up studying mostly in Hindu areas, so I never really built a Muslim friend circle. I know a few Muslims, but I don’t have anyone I feel close enough to call when I’m going through something in life.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m trying to stay connected to my faith. I pray regularly and give charity, but sometimes I still feel like something is missing.
I’ve always had this feeling that I need to do more. Earn more, build a better life, and eventually leave India so that if I have children someday, they can grow up in an environment where I feel they’ll have better opportunities and a stronger sense of belonging.

Sometimes I wonder if this constant drive to achieve more is genuinely my ambition or if I’m just trying to fill a void in my life. Maybe I’m using career growth and money as a way to deal with loneliness without actually addressing it.

I’ve also considered pursuing a master’s abroad. But then I start overthinking: What if things don’t work out? What if I spend so much money, leave everything familiar behind, and end up feeling just as lonely, or even worse? Will I be okay with that?

I know I’m still young, and I have a lot of life ahead of me. But I sometimes feel this pressure to figure everything out as soon as possible.

General Struggling with organic chemistry? i’m here to help for free!

Assalamualaikum everyone!

I hope you’re all doing well.

I’m planning to dedicate an hour each evening to helping students who struggle with organic chemistry. I have a doctorate in organic Chemistry, and I would like to use my knowledge and experience to help students understand the subject better, clear their doubts, and develop confidence in solving problems.

A little about my experience: I have a full time job and also worked as a freelance organic chemistry expert on Chegg from September 2017 to March 2026, when the platform discontinued its Q&A service. During that time, I solved more than 10k organic chemistry questions for students in the US.

I also worked on Course Hero from October 2025 for around six months, solving approximately 1k questions before the availability of questions declined, possibly due to the growing use of AI tools.

I would now like to offer my time and knowledge to students who need guidance in chemistry. I can help through email or google meet, and I have a setup that allows me to explain concepts and solve problems using a writing board.

Availability: I’ll be available for approximately one hour each evening after maghrib (India Standard Time, IST). If someone is interested, please send me a DM, and we can coordinate a suitable time based on my availability.

A few things to keep in mind:

  1. Google meet sessions will focus on the writing board. Neither the student nor I will need to show our faces.
  2. I prefer to keep the interaction strictly academic. I’ll be happy to discuss chemistry/organic chemistry related questions, but I won’t entertain personal questions.
  3. I won’t be offering one-to-one coaching or regular private classes, as I want to help as many students as possible within the limited time I can dedicate each evening.
  4. I’m not looking for any payment or compensation. This is simply my way of sharing what I know and helping students who genuinely struggle with the subject.

If there is someone who is struggling with organic chemistry or need help understanding a particular concept or solving a difficult problem, feel free to send me a DM. I’ll do my best to help, depending on my availability.

Sometimes, a concept that seems difficult at first becomes much easier when explained in a different way. If I can help make organic chemistry a little less intimidating for someone, I’ll consider that time well spent.

Looking forward to helping those who need it!

Ask Indian Muslims How do you find a potential spouse as a divorced Muslim woman in India?

I'm a 30F, divorced, based in Mumbai and trying to figure out how to approach finding a potential spouse.

I have already informed my family and friends that I'm open to getting married again, so that part is covered. But beyond that, I'm honestly a little lost about what actually works.

For those who've been through this, especially divorced women who remarried:

- Which apps or matrimonial sites actually worked for you? Muzz, NikahForever, Muslim Shaadi, or something else?

- Are there any good Muslim communities, groups, or networks where people genuinely connect with marriage in mind?

- What else can I do apart from telling family and friends? Has anyone met their spouse through hobbies, mutual friends, professional circles, community events, or other unconventional ways?

- I'd especially love to hear from divorced women who found a compatible partner. What worked for you, and how long did it take?

- Are matrimonial apps genuinely useful, or do they mostly lead to ghosting, unserious people, and endless conversations that go nowhere?

Lately, I have been hearing so many bad marriage stories that it's making me wonder whether finding a genuinely compatible person is even realistic anymore. I know people in happy marriages probably don't post about them as much, so I'd love to hear some positive experiences too.

I'm not looking to rush into anything just for the sake of getting married. I'd rather find someone compatible and build something healthy.

Please share your genuine experiences, success stories, and practical advice. I'd particularly appreciate advice from people who've navigated the process after divorce.

Thank you
