Of course, they "kinda forgot" that:

Show Discussion Amidst Season 3’s recent release, we may forget the true peak of the show’s brutality

Nothing really tops Aemma’s manner of death for me in terms of brutality and shock value.

Here’s this woman who just suffered the grueling horrors of a stillbirth trying to rest and regain her life only to be pinned down and cut open while at her most vulnerable. The sheer fear she must’ve felt in the moment- not to mention the physical torture.

This was the beginning of my incessant dislike of Viserys.

Show Discussion What do you think about the different Targaryen armor designs in the franchise compared to the ones in HotD?

My absolute favorite is from one of the Game of Thrones animated lore segments, where Viserys is telling the tale of Aegon the Conqueror, that's how I imagine a proper fantasy dragonrider king's armor. The horned helmet is just the cherry on the top. Maybe it's a bit too cliche sword and sorcery, but I just love it, can't help it.

Show Discussion I was surprised that people where hating on this scene when it first came out. I find it so cool to see a dragonrider dismount their dragon in real time. We never see this...they always cut scene or it happens off-screen.

Rhaenyra looks so experienced to jump of Syrax so casually. Also Syrax knew immediately that Rhaenyra wanted to jump off, the dragonbond runs deep.

Book Only controversial take: i don't think Maegor has any other option but to be cruel to undo what Aenys has done Spoiler

i'm ready for the downvotes 🙂

*this is my view and opinion, not claiming anything to be the final say !!!

reading Aenys' chapter was somehow a rage baiting because why he's being such a loser 😭 idk how many times i rolled my eyes every time he's clueless as the king 😭 well long story short his weakness literally allows people to feel brave enough to rebel especially the faith, and that lead to the faith overpowering the realm with rebellious riots everywhere ! he's lucky to just die by sickness after setting everyone still alive in danger 🤦‍♀️ by the time Maegor takes the throne (yes he usurpes it i don't deny that), what else can he do but to be ruthless ? seriously, how to make that much people put down the rebellion, obey you again and restore the crown to it's initial power position ? Aenys sets this shit up and he somehow has to finish it one way or another, does he ? or would everything be better if Aegon the uncrowned became the king before Maegor reaches KL from Essos with Visenya ? read this story few months ago and i started to forget the details, now on Jaehaerys' chapter, but what do you think ?

Book and Show Spoilers Potential change in this S4 battle Spoiler

I don‘t think the writers are going to make the 2nd battle of Tumbleton as complicated as it was in the book.

The battle will likely have all three Daeron, Hugh and Addam fight til death on dragonback instead of 2/3 of the dragons being riderless. Especially since both Hugh and Daeron have been whitewashed in HoTD.

Show Discussion I'm gonna miss Ormund in S4

He didn't really have a lot of screentime... in fact, he only appeared in 6 episodes (he was entirely absent from 2 and 3). But what limited screentime he had, I loved it. I enjoyed his complex psyche, how he carried himself as a benevolent hero, while hiding a crazy, megalomaniac nature underneath. I also loved that he was only true player of the game. Through his cunning and manipulations, he crippled Team Black and would've actually won the war if Ulf wasn't stupid.

I even liked his weakness to odors. Yeah, it's a weird character trait, but in the end this is a fantasy world. It needn't be as boring as irl. I think Ormund's weakness to odors is similar to the Boltons flaying people alive and wearing their skins: ASOIAF thrives when it embraces the absurdity and silliness of fantasy, rather than being all serious and dull like real life.

So I'm gonna miss Ormund. He was my MVP of season 3 and his absence from season 4 will be felt.

Production FINE DETAILS TO QUEEN RHAENYRA TARGARYEN BLACK DRESS WITH RED DRAGON EMBROIDERY DRESS COSTUME

This is one of the most beautiful dresses in the show. From the fabric, the embroidery, the silhouette, the overall cut of the dress is a brilliant blend between Kings Landing high dashion and the unique Targaryen style.

This dress really makes a statement as Rhaenyra's returns to King's Landing. The embroidery around the collar resembles a spine made using dragon scales which somewhat paints a picture of a ensared trap. This foreshadows the trap the Greens where planning for Rhaenyra and her children.

The twin red dragon embroidery brings dimension to the bottom half of the dress and the top half is decked with details.

Production FINE DETAILS TO ALYS RIVERS PURPLE DRESS COSTUME

This is a phenomenal costume and a incredible upgrade to Alys' wardrobe. She is using Simon Strong's gold to good use. The colour and details are so interesting. The fabric of the dress has incorporated the House Hoare sigil in it as we can see the grapes, hawk, cahins and vines.

The pattern on the dress is achieved through a technique called Silk Devoré or Burnout. This process is where a pattern is applied to the velvet and using chemicals, that pattern eats away at the fabric creating the pattern.

Embroidery: Claire Kitchener

Fabric and Textile: Antonela Scandurra

How does the fight with caraxes and vhagar go word for word?

I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere, as far as i know caraxes tears out vhagar's throat, vhagar claws open caraxes's stomach and they both plummet into the lake above god's eye, vhagar dies, caraxes crawls out and dies. But how did the fight actually go in between or before those things happened?

Im planning to make a short comic of vhagar vs caraxes and i wanted to follow the books as faithfully as possible.
