USD render ROP node not working with karma render settings node

I am trying to make a test render to help assist my lookdev, but for some reason my node set up wont let me output an image in a readable format, only EXR. i have attached screenshots for anyone who is interested in helping me out.

note: i have tried editing the path and renaming it from exr to jpg/png but doing this makes the render fail, and does not output an image in the specified directory.

- Which license are you running?

- Which Houdini version are you running?

- Also use the Karma node. It’s a preset that automatically connects the USD Render ROP through expressions. Of which I don’t see on yours, so something maybe missing there.
