We have been recently getting a lot of reports about images not meeting our minimum requirements. We are appreciative and thankful for those reports. However, we would like to inform you that all of these reports have been false. The images have all met the minimum standards.

The issue is with Reddit's native image viewer. It no longer supports high resolution images, instead displaying a downscaled version. This is why you don't get the satisfaction of the zoom on the reddit app. However, if you download the image, it downloads in its native resolution so you can enjoy it to its fullest there!

On mobile, you can download by selecting download from the three dots on the top right when you open the image. On desktop, click on the image, and when it opens, right click and select "open image in new tab". When the new tab opens, there should be a "preview.reddit" in the URL. Change it to "i.reddit". This will load the image in its native resolution
