Hey guys! I had never heard of this game until recently and saw it’s having a bit of a rebirth. It seems interesting to me, but I had a few questions.

How is the player count? Is it easy to find a full match?

How arcadey is the game and how is the learning curve? From what I’ve seen so far, it seems like Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 2 gameplay- both games that I love dearly.

How big/long are the matches typically? Is it short, confined battles, or is it more a large, ongoing match like Foxhole has?

There just seems to not be a whole lot out there on how the game functions so I was curious to learn a little before I jump in. Thank you!

Last time I played H & G, I dabbled with bot battles a bit, and it was a good way to improve KD and get some XP. Do you guys like it, or is regular PvP better?

Hello everyone, I have a question. I recently started playing the game again. I'm playing as the German Army and have unlocked almost all the soldiers except the General. I don't have the Veterans Pass. My main question is how to quickly mine silver in the game. I have an M13 submachine gun, so are there any tips or tricks to boost my performance and actually increase my winnings? Also, I have some speed boosters.

Even sometimes at spawn u get thrown with at grenades its rly exhausting. I want to get killed by other tanks not by some tank rambos that have nothing better to do.

I played for many years (only played USSR), one of my go-to games for about 5 years, then of course the servers went down. Is the game really back again? I heard you have to create a new account?

I got a 7 day timeout over that interaction, anyone can go back and read the chat history and see for themself that this screenshot was the whole interaction I had with Oddball, he threatned a timeout so I didn't say any more "personal insults" yet he still gave me one...

Please can anyone tell me if I actually crossed a line and deserve a 7 day timeout over this or is this guy power tripping? Because Im so flabbergasted.

Hello, i just unlocked but didnt buy M10. Some people say "in War most generals push light tanks, so buy chaffe", some say "Get M10, can pan almost anything it faces and is dirt cheap", some say "Buy sherman, it is decent at everything, you should be do alright with it".

So i am confused. I generally stay away from brawling and sit far away from the fight and kill infiantry and vehicles with he and shoot at planes, tanks and armored vehicles with apcr with my stuart. But if need be i push into the cap and sit in it until we cap or i die.

SO yeah. I need some advice and maybe some tips for what tank you recommended.

I thought they shut the game down. I’ve heard that they’re making a second new H&G, is this what everyone is playing and posting here?
Also is it still playable, maybe on certain servers?

I bought the Pershing a few days ago. As soon as i face other strong tanks starting at medium ones or tank destroyers my gun gets breeched in the beginning. So whats the point of it and how to play it ? The sherman jumbo is way better. wasted money sadly.

I'm wondering if it's possible to play this game from my phone through Gamehub. Currently playing an offline RPG like FF 7 Remake. Will it connect to the game server normally and also play it normally? I want to snipe some plebs using my phone.

Can i increase the infantry squad size to above 4? I remember this being possible but im not sure if it was removed.

So against what it exactly protects you? I know for a fact than it protects against one-shot kill with fully modded sniper rifle, but what else? Can you list some examples? Does it protect also against 2-shot kill with M1 Garand?

I fully leveled my Karabiner 98k rifle on my infantry soilder thinking I could apply a sniper scope to it. I've played looong time ago and that's how it used to work. Now it seems you are able to use sniper scope with 4x + magnifying only as a recon class.

So the question is, can I move my fully leveled up Karabiner from infantry to recon and be able to buy a sniper scope for it keeping the other attachments I already bought as a infantry soilder?

Is there a reason I keep losing warfunds when deploying my assault teams (I have 5, 1 fighter squad, 1 light tank squad, 3 infantry squads)? Or atleast I dont earn significant warfunds like I expected, how am I supposed to upgrade or purchase more squads when I dont earn any warfunds

Pilot? Tanker? Regular infantry? 'Tank hunter' build? Recon? I wonder what people felt most rewarded for by grinding down the respective path.
