Never really thought much about whether different hibiscus tea brands could taste that different until I tried one at my neighbor's place the other day. She made some hibiscus from Pipitea and what surprised me was that I actually enjoyed it with just a little honey. Normally when I make hibiscus at home, it comes out so tart that I end up adding like two tablespoons of sugar. I've always assumed that's just how hibiscus tastes, so I never really thought about trying different brands. So I'm wondering if it's the quality of the tea, the way it's processed or just how it's brewed.
