Junior High School Bullying Issue

I am currently researching for an article all about Junior High Schools' Bullying statistics as well as the preventive measures they are taking to prevent it from the onset. If anyone has heard something about their Junior High School, I would love to request said statistics for them to show this is a nationwide issue.

Thank you.

Invasive species - turned into products - looking for businesses

Hi - We are doing a story on a company that is using invasive species as the key ingredient in one of their products. We are curious if anyone knows of any other companies out there doing something similar. It can be any species, too. Fauna or Flora. It could be construction byproducts, too—just people who are thinking beyond the typical ingredient sourcing.

Thanks!

Potential Story On TikTok's Shady Moves

Would any journalists be willing to take on this story? There are multiple creators willing to participate/speak up!

Given the ongoing discussions surrounding TikTok’s potential ban and its global influence, I wanted to bring an emerging controversy to your attention—one that directly impacts the creators who helped build the platform into the powerhouse it is today.

Multiple TikTok creators are coming forward with troubling claims: their highest-earning videos are being suspiciously “disqualified” from monetization under vague or outright false reasons. When they appeal, their requests are ignored, and support channels offer no resolution. This pattern raises serious questions—is TikTok deliberately withholding earnings to maximize its own profits while leaving creators in the dark?

This issue is especially relevant now, as TikTok fights for its future in the U.S. Creators are the backbone of the platform, yet many feel they’re being silenced and scammed out of the revenue they rightfully earned. With TikTok’s billion-dollar valuation, why is it penny-pinching from the very people who drive its success?

This story has all the right ingredients: • Relevance: TikTok is already in the headlines with the potential U.S. ban and ongoing scrutiny. • Scandal: A multi-billion-dollar company allegedly withholding payments from creators. • Human impact: Small creators losing money they depend on, with no real recourse.

I’d love to connect you with creators willing to share their experiences. Let me know if you’re interested, and I’d be happy to provide more details.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Authors needed - please contact

Hi!

We have journalists on staff looking for help with writing some articles.

I'm glad to see this subreddit - let's hope it works!

We are highlighting authors on our site, and we "were" looking for horror authors. We posted on LinkedIn and some of the HelpAReporterOut sites, but we didn't get far.

If you are an author and would like to share more about yourself, your books, and how you got into the industry, please let us know. We are trying to prime the pipeline of more journalism articles; they are hard to produce, though.

There are no fees; it is just input and awareness. Thanks!

Are we allowed to insert plugs on r/Journalism? What about all the subs connected with specific newspapers?

Suggestions on Next Steps

Please suggest what you want from this platform.

Once we get a critical mass of journalists, perhaps we can target key concerned citizens.

In the DC subreddits, journalists have been reaching out to federal workers but they don't know who can be trusted.

Perhaps journalists should include their credential/biography on their profile along with their signal contact.
