Discussion Am I the only one obsessed with dirty bird?
At first I was uncomfortable but then I really grew to love the cinematography and the song itself. It’s been on replay all morning for me. Does anyone else love it this much??

Discussion I don't even love Stolas that much as a character[he's not bad nor do I hate/dislike him]but even I'm getting so,so tired of all these bad takes surrounding him.
Stolas and Blitz aren't dating or a item.
They were sex friends with mutual feelings at the most.
Stolas is obviously not even close in a good place..the man just lost his home, status, everyone hates him and his daughter basically doesn't fuck with him.
He obviously feels a ton of guilt and doesn't know what he wants or who he wants.
Plus it would be kinda shitty to immediately jump into a relationship with him.
Also yes,Stolas is self harming himself through Sex,like how Husk was damaging himself with drinking and gambling in Love In A Bottle.
He doesn't hate or dislike Blitz,he hates himself.
Also yes,Stolas is insensitive and has the emotional maturity/understanding of a doorknob,no that doesn't make him a badly or poorly written character.
It just gets so annoying with these takes.

Discussion The symbolism of the plants. Spoiler
I just wanted to point out the symbolism in this scene. Blitzø brings Stolas a Gympie Gympie plant which represents himself-someone who gets under your skin enough to make you wanna die, dangerous, but who is also cozy when you know how to treat him (like the tea it makes) and is filled with passion (like how the gympie is all heart-shaped leaves). It also can still grow and has roots down to nourish, like their relationship would be.
The flower the BDSM guy gives Stolas is also dangerous, but in a more direct, pricking-you now way (the thorns) rather than having tiny needles you don't notice at first like the gympie. So like how there's immediate satisfaction in the BDSM relationships. It has leaves like the wings of an incubus (the type of demon he's been sleeping with), and teeth around the petals like a venus fly trap (perhaps indicating that he could get trapped by that lifestyle?), as well as an eye that sees him in a way the gympie can't. Also, it's a cut flower that is already dying and can't last long-term.
Just thought the subtlety of the symbolism here was very well done!

Discussion What’s his name?
We as a fandom need to figure out his name. I read somewhere that it could be Dominic or Dom for short, and I gotta say it fits.

Discussion Are people seriously blaming Loona for this? Spoiler
I have seen so many people say they hated that Loona gave Stolas the idea to be on the kinky app, and that she should suffer some sort of consequence from Blitzø for this. And I keep thinking people are we real?
Not only she did exactly what Blitzø asked her to do (Take care of Stolas and help him), she also has no obligation to save her dad's relationship with his lover. We are assuming she is to put Blitzø's needs above Stolas' when Stolas should always be allowed to make his own informed choices about what he wants for his life and his free time, and having an option to choose that will make Blitzø upset is something that Stolas himself should be thinking about before he makes the decision, it's not Loona's fault. She's not in the wrong for showing him something he CAN do.
Of course she wants the best for Blitzø, but Stolas deserves full dimension of his current options and he deserves to have a choice to make ON HIS OWN AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR. Be mad at Stolas all you want, but Loona did nothing wrong. Whatever upsets Blitzø about Stolas is what Stolas himself chooses to do.

Discussion It really shows
Episode 3 really was alot of the younger fans first experience with a hardcore fetish lol.
Poison was explicit sure, but this was just pure BDSM roleplay and alot of reactions im seeing are making me laugh.

Discussion People have got to stop complaining about Episode 3. Spoiler
With the amount of posts I see in this subreddit of people hating and even leaving the fandom all because of this episode, it’s annoying. It’s almost as if people don’t actually listen to what the episode has to say, let alone the context surrounding Stolas.
It is just more proof that people still don’t actually watch Helluva Boss like they’re supposed to. There are a handful of posts that perfectly explain the episode well, and yet I keep seeing people complaining. Like it or not, people should at least try to understand it before criticizing it.

Discussion S3 Episode 3 ending was absolutely perfect. I never felt something so strong through an audio-visual work in 15 seconds. Spoiler
To clarify what I'm talking about, I'm talking about everything that start from the shot where Stolas closes the door as we hear Blitz smashing the pot, to the final fade to black.
Everything is absolutely flawless. I rewatched that final scene like 5 or 6 times, everything is just so perfect :
- Realization of what happened
- Burning anger followed by sudden, impulsive and mindless outburst of destruction
- Realization of what he just did and could be about to do. He sees and understands destroying things will not help anything and might make things worse. There is still a chance Stolas enjoys the plant when he comes back. It makes Blitz look kinda desperate which is very justified.
- Regret with a brief moment of clarity, just for the time of fixing the damage
- Finally a brutal and drowning sadness. Mental damages have to go somewhere, they will stay contained in him.
The voice acting is perfect all the way through.
Seriously there is "this is a very human reaction" and there is "I feel like I just saw a cartoon drawover a real scene that happened". I'm absolutely sure someone who worked on that lived something like this because it's just so exactly what I would expect from that situation. He spent the entire week trying to find something that would make Stolas feel better, and all of that for not only not pay off, but also to realize the problem has already been fixed by someone else instead of **him**.

Discussion What if Stolas takes the BDSM thing so far that he ends up in a bad situation? Spoiler
Okay, this is my last post for today, as promised. But this is something I'm curious about.
What if one of these two scenarios happened involving Stolas and his BDSM?
1. Stolas goes to another session, and the Dom tries to follow the rules, but Stolas keeps pushing him to hurt him more and more, breaking some of the rules because Stolas isn't even using his safewords or the traffic light system.
The Dom eventually stops and sends Stolas away, which gets him blacklisted. Alternatively, Blitzø bursts in and kills the Dom because he sees him hurting Stolas. Stolas gets angry at Blitzø and tells him that's what he wanted, and they end up arguing again.
2. Stolas has a session with someone else. The guy looks pretty dangerous at first glance, and when he comes to pick Stolas up, Blitzø notices that he's acting way too aggressively. He gets worried about Stolas and follows them.
At first, Stolas enjoys the BDSM and lets the guy hurt him more and more. But eventually, the guy goes too far and crosses the line. Stolas realizes that he doesn't actually want this and that they should slow down. He starts calling out the colors and using his safeword, but the guy refuses to stop and keeps hurting him.
Stolas tries to fight him off but can't, and he starts to panic. That's when Blitzø shows up and saves him.
This time, Stolas doesn't argue with him, and Blitzø doesn't blame him for anything. He simply takes him home.
I know both scenarios might be kind of stupid, but which one do you think sounds less stupid?

Discussion Can the mods wake up?
The sub is full of uncensored screenshots, major plot points in the titles and just general spoliers. I'm not paying for prime, I have to wait out the month and it's pissing me the fuck off that I constantly come across content ripped straight from the new episodes with no warnings or precautions. I'm pretty sure we're at a point where I could watch all 3 episodes just by putting the screnecaps used in this sub's posts in chronological order.
