Eat your dreams. Weird moment in my life. Feels like it's always that way. Art solves nothing but it does allow me to make something beautiful/ create a strange expressive expulsion from the wreckage. Dream on.

Hey guys, here's a small illustration done for the Drawtober promt ''Shadow Prince''.

Idea for this illustration popped up while I was thinking about a cockroach which I saw recently in my bathroom. I realized that these bugs most often see us humans emerging from the shadows, because they are more comfortable in the dark, and since bugs perceive us humans all the same (they don't see the subtle variations in our faces and bodies which makes each person different), is the reason why I illustrated the human being symbolically as a primitive figurine (also inspired by the art and sculptures of Shaun Tan).

Swipe to see the whole process!
