Being a size 16 and ordering wedding guest/ bridesmaid dresses online is always a risk bc of how small it might turn out... Turns out I'M too small for this dress - I took the cups out of it, but it's still slightly bone-in and my chest definitely does not fill it out correctly. Every other part of the dress fits just fine, it's only the chest area thats too big on me :/ does anyone know a good seamstress in the area? I'm used to altering regular degular clothes but this is a bridesmaid dress.

Additionally, I am looking for a cleaner that would be able to help with a deep clean for the apartment (duplex) that we are moving into. We previously rented this side and the tenants had a dog. We're looking for the cleaner(s) to wipe down the walls, clean the floors, clean the windows, full deep clean of the appliances, etc.. We have already stripped the carpets and removed almost all of the curtains, etc.. already.

Marvin got out last night. He never goes outside and is was a found stray cat now enjoying his life indoors and is all but terrified of the outside. He was responding to me when I was calling him last night (making awful terrified yowling sounds) but I couldn’t locate him and he has since stopped responding. Would be in the area near north front street by the exit ramp. :(.

Responds well to his name. Very friendly but can be shy at around strangers.

UPDATE:

Marvin has been located! He was hiding in a shed (probably all night ) he’s super on edge and is absolutely exhausted. Found him having beef with another cat. Never seen him get so angry puffed up and sounded like he was screaming profanities at this other cat haha.

Me and my girlfriend are trying to plan a day of dressing up and going out on the 31st for Halloween. What fun/interesting things are there for us to do in the Harrisburg area on that day?

Some of my 8th graders are applying for bishop mcdevitt high school. The application is open but they're wondering what's required. All that I see is how to make an account. Should the kids make the account?

Should that be their parents? As their homeroom teacher I feel like I should know these things but this is the first year I'm in charge of 8th grade stuff...

What exactly can they expect from the application process?

Is there an essay?

Is it just a matter of putting in transcripts?

A friend of mine needs to get their sewer line repaired and would really prefer to go trenchless if possible. Part of the line runs under their paver driveway, and they’re hoping to avoid tearing it all up and having to replace it. From what they’ve heard, not every plumber offers trenchless repairs because the equipment is expensive. Does anyone know a company in Central PA that does pipe bursting or pipe lining with its own equipment rather than subcontracting the job?

Where would be some good and safe places to walk with a stroller? Preferably longer than 1 mile like most playgrounds offer. Closer to mechanicsburg/camphill would be ideal but looking for all recommendations!

I'm specifically looking for someone who offers in-person evaluations and appointments, not telehealth.

Ideally, someone who takes the time to listen, does a thorough assessment, and doesn't just rush to prescribe medication.
