This happened to one of my patients. Leg like jello. I never got to see the X-ray, but there was nothing solid in there

I need to wipe my phone down with hand sanitizer so I don't catch the stupid that this video portrays.

Is that a person in the back window? They donāt seem to react at all to the guyās situation.
4
u/jbrittjones 9d ago
Yeahā¦itās like is there anything in this clip that makes any sense? Itās so exaggeratedā¦dude doesnāt even reactā¦stoically sitting with his back to cameraā¦in a driverless truck

You think his femurs broke?

u/jbrittjones 9d ago edited 9d ago
By the looks of itā¦Iām thinking hipā¦that sudden roll of the tire probably yanked his femur out of its socketā¦
And probably some ligaments around the kneeā¦
Alsoā¦donāt forget about the ankleā¦I mean that ankle is a gonerā¦

u/Foggysoda 9d ago
The way he kissed the floor I'd bet there's some damage there. Well new damage, by the look of the truck there might be some pre existing conditions.

u/jbrittjones 9d ago
Youāre rightā¦perhaps had the pain from the tire not been so overwhelmingā¦he could have put his arms out to break the fall?
4
u/Foggysoda 9d ago
I don't know, he kinda put them down but the guy was thrown down really hard and fast. He probably didn't know what was happening till he was on the floor.

u/jbrittjones 9d ago
Solid observationā¦on second glance yesā¦he doesnāt get them up quickly enough for the oral surgeonās bridge work to be avoided but there is some movementā¦
Itās inspiring to see that despite the overwhelming pain flooding his brain that there still was some space left where he was trying to make sense of the situationā¦if only brieflyā¦

Put a fork in that ankle, it's done
3
u/jbrittjones 9d ago
Yesā¦just like when youāre cooking potatoesā¦when the fork goes in thatās when they doneā¦his ankle is probably the source of the crunch imoā¦gone but not forgottenā¦

He had put out a response video a few years go when this happened. His leg was actually ok but it broke his arm.

I have to admit when he screamed, I screamed too. That snapping sound⦠yikes š¬

u/jbrittjones 9d ago
That he shared this will always be one of lifeās greatest mysteries to meā¦
I mean each pixel is a million reasons to never show this to a living soulā¦
And yetā¦there it isā¦

u/Scudss_ 9d ago
Fuck yeah that crunch was so satisfying. Gonna need to squat that truck a little more to get your broken ass in now
1
u/jbrittjones 9d ago
It is isnāt itā¦itās a crunch that leaves no doubtā¦kinda like when you step on your sunglassesā¦

Honestly what you get for doing this dumb trend and your wheels and tires are wider than the truck.
Donāt get me wrong,I like the mud tires to stick out about the depth of the outside tread, some of these trucks have half the wheel width outside the fender

I can just tell by his stupid wheel turning mimicking that his song was absolute dog shit.

Classic! š¤£š¤£š¤£
Itās amusing that it squeezed him like a tube of toothpaste so well that it pushed his left shoe and sock off.Ā

If you pay close attentionā¦which I haveā¦he starts off fine but then you can tell heās not moving fast enoughā¦and itās when he tries to move faster by stepping widerā¦thus feeding his leg to the tire like a wood chipperā¦
