La implementación de un Nivel Base 15 automático para todas las cartas de jugadores nuevos es la medida definitiva para eliminar la barrera de nivel y garantizar la competitividad hacia Magic Awakened (MA) desde el primer mes.

Actualmente, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened sufre de una brecha de poder opresiva. Los jugadores veteranos cuentan con mazos al nivel máximo (18+), mientras que un jugador nuevo tiene cartas en 6-9, y tarda hasta más de un año en alcanzar un nivel competitivo. Dado que el modelo de negocio real de este tipo de juegos no depende del gasto masivo inicial de ballenas, sino de la retención activa a largo plazo y las microtransacciones estéticas (pases mensuales, atuendos, escarbatos y tiradas gacha), mantener un sistema Pay to Fast tan castigador ahuyenta a la base de usuarios recién ingresada y pone en riesgo la longevidad del juego.

Mi propuesta: Sistema de Sintonización de Nivel Base 15

Para nivelar el terreno de juego desde el día uno sin destruir la progresión natural de los veteranos:

Sintonización Automática: Al completar el tutorial de la escuela, todas las cartas en posesión del jugador (y las que obtenga en el futuro) se ajustan automáticamente a un Nivel Base 15 para todos los modos de Duelo Clasificado.

Progresión de Niveles (15 al 18+): El nivel real de las cartas obtenido mediante copias y oro servirá únicamente para subir del nivel 15 al nivel máximo, permitiendo que la ventaja del veterano sea prudente y no aplastante como en el sistema actual.

Acceso Inmediato a Rangos Altos: Con cartas en nivel 15, un jugador nuevo con alta habilidad táctica, buen uso de ecos y sinergias puede llegar al rango Magic Awakened en su primer mes de juego.

Mitos y verdades:

El mito de la ballena nueva: Las ballenas que entran y gastan miles de dólares de golpe son una minoría insostenible. Si el entorno de juego está desierto de jugadores casuales o competitivos nuevos, las propias ballenas pierden el interés al no tener una comunidad activa contra la cual competir, y las ballenas actuales ya tienen sus cartas al máximo con ecos extraordinarios.

El verdadero motor financiero: El juego se sostiene mediante el consumo recurrente de volumen:

Pases de temporada (Season Passes).

Aspectos de varita, atuendos y cosméticos de rueda gacha (Lucky Wheel).

Escarbatos y beneficios diarios.

Conversión de Jugador a Pagador:

Un jugador que experimenta partidas mecedoras, competitivas y justas desde su primer mes se enamora del juego y está dispuesto a gastar en cosméticos. Un jugador que es aplastado por diferencia de nivel en sus primeras semanas desinstala la aplicación sin gastar un solo centavo.

Resultados aplicando la idea para los Jugadores nuevos:

Matchmaking justo: La victoria o derrota depende del emparejamiento de mazos, gestión de movimiento, rotación de cartas y dominio del eco, no de los puntos de vida o daño base.

Sensación de logro: La posibilidad real de escalar hasta Magic Awakened premia la curva de aprendizaje en lugar del tiempo/dinero invertido en años previos.

Para el Ecosistema del Juego y los Veteranos ganamos:

Tiempos de espera reducidos: La inyección masiva y retención de nuevos Duelistas dinamiza las colas de emparejamiento en todos los rangos.

Metajuego vivo: Mayor variedad de mazos y estrategias en la escalera clasificatoria.

Preservación del prestigio veterano: Los jugadores antiguos conservan sus marcos exclusivos, cosméticos de temporadas pasadas, ecos optimizados con mejores atributos y la pequeña ventaja del nivel 18+, manteniendo su estatus sin arruinar la experiencia de los demás.

Un cambio así nos quitaría el esticma de ser Pay to win que no somos, pero con un Pay To Fast tan absurdo como el actual los jugadores nuevos no se van a motivar a quedarse, mucho menos en poner un solo dolar al juego. Sabemos que antes de la llegada de Warner Magic awakened tenía un tope de nivel hasta 15 en nivel de cartas y 100 en nivel de libro, la brecha actual, incluso con aceleradores es muy alta. La pregunta, estarían dispuestos los veteranos a que se adopte una medida así si se nos compensa esos niveles que nosotros pagamos?

This is my second post about merging zouwu, but it's really important to me. I love playing HPMA, but such a small number of players on this small server discourages me from playing. Events and club activities become boring if there's no one to do them with. If we write to Netease to merge this server, the players will be happy (I won't even mention how awful it is to wait in the queue for the first hide and seek or warboard match, because it's a different level of nightmare). WE NEED YOUR HELP.

It looks like this year we'll only get the return of the mythical broom. I'm very disappointed. I was hoping for a new costume (especially the Halloween event costumes look so good). I have the impression that the creator is running out of ideas. Maybe we'll get another Halloween costume? What do you think?

the year would start with the mc having breakfast with their parents , when an owl arrive .... a letter , an invite from ...the vole house ? yes cassandra ...your thorny friend as how the mc described her to his/her parents ...has sent you an invite for a dinner feast , guess there is a first for everyone ......at night ,the mc and the parents goes in an invisble car to the vole family mansion in the scottish hills ,for their welcoming there was the vole family house elf ,sorry ,servent ,paid servent , he took them in inside the house ,marble and grey ,portrait of whimsical unlike cassandra most of the time, the servent took them to the garden that seems normal at first ,but upon closer look, it have many small magical plants ,might explain why cassandra loved mister longbottom class very much,you would meet up with the warrengton twins and cassandra who seemed to have hard time giving warm welcome ,that and callling an elf a " paid servent " ,you would talk about how basicly everyone in our year is here with thier parents , lottie is painting the guests ,robyn is eating as much as she could ,kevin is asking cassandra mother about veelas ,the other set of twins were warned not to prank anyone ,and danial page was ...not there ,ivy and winfred gave the idea to cassandra who was pushed to have this party by her mother then ,she sends invites ,first to danial yet he was not there with no response ,mentioning danial made the mode goes down, winnie nudged cassandra to tell the group if they want to check the artifact room, an old gloomy room in the west side of the mansion ,robyne was not intersted but she did not want to leave kevin in the same room as cassandra ,they went despite winnie feeling dizzy , ivy said she was not able to sleep latley ,the room was full of old thing , wands , skins of ancient creatures and a carpet , a real flying one ,kevin talked about it and made it sounds like a real great thing , cassandra said her father had way before any embargo on the carpets ,all that made robyne goes bloody excited , she asked cassandra if she can ride it , after some thinking cassandra thought that her father would not mind , they all went to the back garden as robyne start flying not in the best way ,all while ivy could not help but think if danial was doing all right ,but that distracted them from the fact that robyne cruched right into them ,breaking both of their wands , which made robyne really sad , as she told the mc and ivy she would pay for thier new wands ...a new visit for diagon alley wait ...

Like many of you, I’ve been wondering what the future holds for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. We’ve been waiting for Year 5 for a long time, and with the 5th anniversary approaching, I decided to contact customer support and ask about the game’s future.
I wanted to know whether there’s still a future for the game, whether we can expect Year 5, and if there’s any reason to believe that more substantial content is still being developed.
Here’s the response I received:

Honestly, this response leaves me with more questions than answers.

I can think of a few possible scenarios:
1. They genuinely don’t know what the development team has planned. Customer support may simply not have access to information about future content.

2. There are plans, but they’re not allowed to disclose anything yet. Perhaps we’ll hear more around the 5th anniversary, although the response gives us no reason to assume that’s the case.

3. The game’s future is uncertain, and they deliberately avoided making any promises. The lack of reassurance about continued development or Year 5 is concerning, especially after such a long wait.
Of course, none of these scenarios is confirmed, and I’m not claiming that the game is shutting down. But I do think the lack of clear communication makes it difficult for long-time players to know what to expect or whether it’s worth continuing to invest their time and money in the game.

Here’s what I’d like to suggest: could more of us contact customer support and ask directly about the game’s future, Year 5, and plans for continued development?
It would be interesting to see whether everyone receives the same generic response or whether some players get more specific information. If you decide to contact them, please share the response you receive here (with any personal information removed).
Maybe if enough of us raise the same questions, we’ll at least get a clearer picture of where things stand.
I really love this game and its potential, and I’d genuinely like to see it grow rather than slowly fade away. I hope I’m not the only one who still wants to see what this game could become.

This might be a dumb question but i would like to know first before starting the game, does the houses have any meaningful difference between each other? Like, some characters only talk to you if youre from the same house or you have only X and Y characters to interact in their respectives common rooms or is it just cosmetic? Also (on PC) can you play the game with japanese audio and english subtitles?

Remembered this with Malfoy trend, I only played a while on release, and the most recent new is from a year ago. Is it still getting updates? How far it is into the story?

My in-game friends are mostly either not active anymore or from different timezones so when I play either no one is online or 1 or max 2. The „nearby“ chat is dead too. So I’m trying here. I’m not a competitive player btw, but would be nice to have friends there to complete tasks you need in-game friends for like the current hogsmeade hideout where you need to play two games with friends :)

clearly , a 200 pages book would explain and show more about the game plot ,like showing what our mc and friends do in halloween and christmas ,or fitting the seasonal quests into the main plots , i feel like most of the seasonal quests would fit into year 1 ,what do you think?

How much space does the game take up on Android?

Have not played since my region store removed it. Does the story end at year 7? As the story even reached year 7 when everyone would graduate?

I am the founder of a club built for the best of the best.

Since the very beginning of the global release, we have searched for the most active, skilled, and dedicated duelists. Many wanted to join us, but only those who truly earned their place could become a part of our club. I won’t mention its name. Those who were here already know it.

I’m writing this message to thank all of you for these years together and to say goodbye.

The HPMA community has been one of the kindest and most welcoming communities I’ve ever had the chance to be a part of. I’ve met great people here, watched players grow, competed in countless duels, and experienced a lot of moments that I’ll remember long after the game itself is gone.

Unfortunately, the player base keeps getting smaller, largely because of the lack of new content, and keeping the club alive is becoming harder and harder.

I’ve played and been involved in other games over the years, and I’ve seen this cycle before. When a game reaches this stage, the signs are usually clear. I believe HPMA is entering its final chapter, and, in my experience, it is unlikely to have more than another year before the servers eventually go quiet.

Maybe I’ll be wrong. I sincerely hope I am.

But whether the game has another year or another decade, I want to thank every person who was a part of this journey.

Thank you for the friendships.
And most importantly, thank you for making this community what it was.
