Career Related/Advice How does it feel like to lose HENRY status? How did you get back?

I'm software engineer in eastern europe, was making around 12k euros net per month.. From November I'll be back to around 4-5k euros net per month, I'm living within my means (spending no more than 1-2k euros per month on my personal life) however I'm nervous about the future.. Didn't have enough time to build sufficient wealth in this period, and the tech industry seems shady atm (with Opus 5.5 I'm worried my income drops further e.g. I get forced to do Uber and the such)

I was avoiding dating/marriage till I had a good enough Nest egg, only have ~100k euros atm in savings, not enough to be comfortable & worry-free

Anything you reckon I can do to secure myself? I feel like I'm working around the clock on personal projects, but there's barely any income from these projects

FYI: I'm 26, Male, workaholic

Question How many of us grew up in households making less than the median family income ($36k in 1990 U.S. dollars)?

You can look up the median family income for the U.S. here (sorry non-Americans).

Just curious how much of us have experienced such a drastic socioeconomic shift.
