So I am currently pregnant and have cut out all caffeine from my diet. That being said, I’m really missing having coffee, and know that once it gets colder in my town, I’m gonna really wish I had some. I got some San Antonio decaf whole bean coffee, but when I was looking up the process by which it was decaffeinated, I came across a post from a couple of years ago saying that the decaf was making people jittery, and that the factory may accidentally get the decaf and regular beans mixed up from time to time.
Since I’m avoiding caffeine, I really don’t wanna risk making a pot of coffee, and then realizing once it’s too late that my beans are not in fact all decaf.
Has anyone had problems with this recently, specifically with the San Antonio blend? The post I saw was in this sub from a couple of years ago.
Worst case is I miss out on coffee this winter due to not wanting to risk it, but figured I’d check here to see if it’s possibly still an issue 🤷♀️
