[Question / Help me] Is this shade too dark?
galleryIt looks a little darker in person, it's hard to see on camera plus my shit lighting lol. Ik there's a three shade rule, idk if this breaks it tho. I use a white setting powder that makes most of make makeup look lighter than it actually is so there's that to consider too

[Rant / Vent] im eternally grateful for actualgyaru sub
I've been a gyaru for 4 months and one of the first things I ever did as a baby gal was post on r/actualgyaru. and wow did I get some extreme critic, it was not accurate gyaru makeup on the slightest and to top it off I had a bad attitude and was very defensive to the critic I received. But I continued to post and I continued to receive advice that helped me learn more and more and actually lock in to being the best gyaru I can be.
I'm grateful because without the criticism I don't think my make would be where it is today, without the sources I was provided that members and mods in actualgyaru pointed me towards (like galrevo) i wouldn't have the knowledge and extreme interest I have of gyaru.
I keep seeing this sentiment that actualgyaru is horrible for baby gals and I completely disagree, it's untrue. i love the sub it's my favorite gyaru sub!!! and i am soooo so appreciative of all the members and the mod team. Thank you eternally for helping me get where I am now 🩷

[Rant / Vent] Stop caring what ppl think and just be fabulous♡
Tbh sometimes I come here and see so many ppl worried about the silliest things, getting swept up in online discourse, and practically asking people for permission to be gal. I say this with love in my heart, but some ppl in this community NEED to log off and actually go out and experience real life fashion culture because I promise you, staying locked up inside, scrolling on reddit, and constantly trying to figure out how to "improve" will get you nowhere. The internet is a good place to gather info, share ideas, and gain inspiration. But some of yall spend more time online trying to "learn" and "achieve" a certain image of gal, rather than learning through ACTION and actually doing the thing! GO DO THE THING! stop asking randos online over and over again "Does this read as gal?" "Can I wear this and be gal?" Etc, etc. Shut up, do your make, fix your hair, put on your outfit, go OUT, and LIVE YOUR GAL LIFE. Respectfully ♡♡♡

[Question / Help me] I dont know how and have money to style my clothes
I always wore a soft/coquette style 2 years ago i got into the himekaji/Roma subculture. I really want to know howw to style it but the thing is that i suck at doing so, i watched videos and read in forums but i feel like something in my outfits is missing. I dont have money to buy clothes so i try to style myself to with handme downs, thrifed clothes and tailor them.
Also storse like vinted do not send stuff to where i live and trying it it would be even more expensive. I see girls rocking cute heels or boots and i only have sandals, a pair of red mary jane heels and converse. The same with fluffly dresses or skirts. NO matter how much effort i put on an outfit i feel it always ends up looking basic
I really need help on how to style my clothes with a low budget, ill be gratefull for any kind of advice of what to add, where to by, tailoring or styling any kind of advice is useful.
Here is an example on how would i style myself (with similar clothes that i own), on a fun day:

[Poll / Surveys] Survey for USA J-Fashion Brand in Development
Hi everyone, apologies in advance if this isn’t allowed in the subreddit! I am a j-fashion enthusiast and a college of business graduate developing a USA based J-Fashion brand that I plan to launch next year. If anyone has the time to take this survey and give me their thoughts on what they would like to see from an indie brand I would be so grateful 🙏💗 thank you so much!!

[Advice] Make advice!
galleryI’ve been trying out gal make for about a month since I got really hyperfixated on the style and the history and decided to attempt it! Anything I can do to improve it besides bottom lashes? I tried bottom lashes but they were a huge sensory issue 😓

[Question / Help me] Which one is more accurate to 90s Gyaru
galleryI’m making an oc who’s meant to be Gyaru and she’s from the 90s (specifically the late 90s from 1996 to 1998).
I’ve looked at different Gyaru outfits and created these two outfits based on what I saw and I’m wondering which one is more accurate to the actual time period. Any help is very appreciated!

[Lifestyle] My OOTD and make for the 1st day back!
galleryI responded to my teachers weekly email early enough to get a treat, my homeroom teacher knows whats up(always has the good stuff), he also keeps a pride flag on full desplay. My OOTD, MAKE, lunch and see final slide for my kitty, her names Harmony, I didn't end up eating all my dinner, my mum just plates extra because she wants to see me and my sis fully fed(I love her so much and I know those things were probably like elephant in the room LMAOOO). Theres no furnature bc the carpet was cleaned over the hollidays, in my home country students have responsibility over classroom furnature ^^(it was in the schools main hall)

Gyaru's Brasileiras
