I got an artificial aortic valve replacement this summer, so I have to take blood thinners every single day at the same time or I'll die. 

Since I'm extremely ADHD, I have a timer set at 6pm every day to tell me to take the blood thinners. Because I needed a big, loud, rowdy song to alert me, and because of my lifelong love of Guilty Gear, I chose "Hunt A Soul" from my first GG game, GG Isuka, to be my alarm song.

GG keeps me alive. Literally.

I remember when she dropped in Strive and just feeling ALIVE when I heard her theme for this game. The chants, the demons laughing in the background, man this theme FUCKS. She's always been one of my fave GG characters and I'll always stand by that. Gotta put on 3 round matches just so I can hear most of the song in the game hahaha. GG rocks. 🔥

1 Day I'll drop the game to play other games, a week later and I'm getting my ass kicked by sentient beds, homunculuses with key husbands, an American, and a god damn K-Pop idol with a gun thats also a marriage proposal. Am I bound to the fighting game shackles? I think of the game alot yet I'm bad

I’ve just started playing fighting games seriously with sf6 I’d now returning to ggst after 3 years. It’s been really fun, and i’ve been having some success but I want to improve even more. I’m currently gold 1 almost gold 2 and would love for some brutally honest feedback.

As much as Vanquisher is a douse of cold water, it also brings some gifts like a really tough Goldlewis. I haven't faced one this good in a long time.

I even got the rare Erica phone call win screen (not pictured here, sadly)!

I'm almost Diamond3 on jam but im afraid i wont get Vanquisher so soon, feels like i hit a skill wall

Edit: i mean a very low-diamond3 vs a high-diamond3, Is the gap big?

I tried climbing on Bedman, started a few days ago and am pretty happy with how far I got so far, I'm almost in Diamond, but ran into an issue blocking.

Sometimes when the opponent keeps using normal attacks for combos, I just take a hit. I blocked 5-6 times in a row but then the same attack that I covered before hits even if I'm blocking it the same way, and I don't understand what's causing it. Checked my controller but everything works fine. It lost me a solid few matches already and is getting somewhat frustrating.

I must have caught them going up and motivated them to get better after a good whooping

I mained A.B.A at first and I hit a wall around Gold 2 where it felt like I had to do the craziest shit to kill anybody.

Then I moved onto Asuka and he is the most fun character I've ever played in any game and got him to platinum 1 but am starting to get annoyed by the amount of effort I have to put in to do the tenth of what sol does with 2 braincells.

I hate baby combo characters and I feel like Millia is a good middle ground, she is complex but also has more reliable tools than Asuka to deal with spammy elphelts and sols. I also don't like playing characters from top of tierlists because wins don't feel earned.

Is there anyone else that is complex and fun to freestyle with but also strong enough to compete?
