Yeah you change it by actually getting better at the game and improving. You’re at 2k elo because you’re bad at the game still but think you’re better than you are

Likely the system doesn't think you are ready for the higher elo's. No point is +300 matches and being in 5k when you can barely keep up at 2k.

Stop worrying about your rank. Just practice and improve yourself, and you will start climbing.

You gain more and lose more if your performance indicates you’re supposed to be a higher rank. Yours doesn’t.

People getting +300 are likely powering through ranks. Your match bonus/loss will go up if you start winning more and performing better.

Nobody really answering your question. Reality is, ladder is weird at low elos. Not sure why they don't want people at low end ranking too fast.

I had same issue. When I was at like 2-3k, i got +100/-100 gains. Doesn't matter whether you play solo or duo. Even when I played duo with like 8k friend at that time. He was getting +300/-100 while I was getting +100/-100. It was frustrating that he climbed 1200 elo while I climbed like 400. So there is something in calculation that forces people to grind it out.

It usually gets better. At like 3k you should start getting 150s. At like 4k +200/-200 assuming proper mmr. Above 5k you should start seeing gains in 300s too.

It's likely the rating gain/loss is fundamentally based on the average hidden MMR difference between the two teams, with some bonus gain/loss if there's misalignment between hidden MMR and the user visible one. Winning or losing a lot of games in a row can also increase the points won/lost, as the rating system effectively has less confidence about your true rating.

I am not sure if I understand you exactly, but if I do, this is little bit different. There really seems to be some hard limit at low elo. My biggest problem when I was trying to figure this out is that I was getting/losing very low amounts. If I was getting like +100/-300 per game, then that would make sense, I would know that my elo sucks and I have to just grind. But getting +100/-100 just didn't make sense.

I mean, you are definitely right, that difference between two teams can affect gains, even on OP's screen we see that he gained 140 in last game instead of usual 100 from other games, but there is a limit. You are not getting +300 at 2k elo.

Maybe they don't want lot of people stacking at 0 elo and this helps distribution or something, but it is kind of demotivating for low elo players. Especially as I remember playing duo with friend against average 4-5k elo games and my friend going during one day 6k to 8k while I went like 2200 to 2700 playing in the same games.

What are you expecting, +800 elo games?

Just keep winning and you’ll climb the ladder

Have you tried winning?

I would wait for a next season or in most drastic scenario: use a new account

Because if you are really better than your rank then it will simply take much less time to start with some reasonable rank

Why does rank matter to you? Just play the game and ignore the rank, as long as you play well and have fun you're laughing!

You rank up by being your teams 'win condition' at such a rank.

Do you "lock in" by warming up properly? A lot of people saying you need to warm up 15 minutes before hopping into a game. But some days it just doesnt click and my aim is off. So I warmup longer (practice by then) until it clicked. If not, I dont play premier that day.

At your rank you would be breezand through if you are actually above your rank.

Stop playing premier and stick to competitive to learn the maps and not worry about rank. Lean spray control, watch tutorials on aiming, movement etc... Play workshop maps to practice aim.

lmao when your elo is this low just play premier its probably easier than competitive

Ya good point.

Slightly smaller chance of playing with trolls in premier. Losing nothing by playing it

1

u/Slow_Beat0808 19h ago

Good point, less cheaters too.

Don’t get me wrong, played a lot of comp (mostly just because I liked to pick a specific map and play out of rotation stuff) but it’s ass if you want to play properly. So many throwers and trolls

1

u/Slow_Beat0808 19h ago

Youre not wrong but at least you can practice your own game throwing utility, figuring out what angles to clear with out premier rank pressure (if you care about rank) thats all im saying really.

Im with you though I play comp when I get bored of premier map pool and just want to fuck around.

stop playing comp and grind DM for months, come back to comp and you will rank up eventually if you can carry consistently.

If you want to rank up you have to make friends and coordinate your gameplay. Counter strike is a team game. The ranking system also doesn't care what your individual stats are. It only cares if you win the match or not. So I'd suggest to not worry too much about individual stats and start playing with a group of friends and building teamwork.

Leetify rating is a meaningless number. It will not help you improve-honestly it's not a reflection at all of performance.

Leetify rating also has a scaling problem. The numbers really don't have any sort of accuracy -3->1.8 is essentially the same, this rating can go into the high teens in relatively normal games.

Only number that matters is W/L over a certain number of matches.

You need to win more than you lose, consistently, over sample sizes of 20 odd games or bigger. It is as simple as that. You've gone up 400 already over the sample you've posted, you just need to keep doing that. Clearly this is a sample of the good matches, and you also have negative streaks, that's why you're stuck. You need to win more.

Don't look at Leetify Rating, if you want to learn where you need to improve, look at the Leetify categories-aim, positioning, util, and see anything that is not "good" or better, and bring those things at least up to average for your rank.

Leetify rating is mostly cope, and easily buffed by behaviour like baiting. You must want to win.
