Discussion The Joes the jackpot with Ghosts. Sadly for me I cannot finish the first episode of Eternally Yours.
I really wanted to like Eternally Yours because I’m obsessed with Ghosts. Sadly, it just doesn’t flow well and seems like there’s a disconnect with the actors. Plus, I find the premise of it not very interesting. I was grossed out by it. I turned it off before it was even over. What a bummer. can’t wait for my Ghosts to be back!

Discussion New watcher and loving it! But…
I just started watching this (I’m like half a season in) and I’m really enjoying it. The episodes are light and the ghosts CARRY they’re so funny, I love them all. Trevor, Thor, Isaac and Sas are my favs ✊🏻 There are just two things that are bothering me like crazy:
I don’t like that sometimes some ghosts aren’t in episodes and there’s no explanation why :( I feel like it happens most with Hetty and Flower so far. I wish there was some type of lore that would explain that ghosts have to like sleep or recharge or something so aren’t seen for a while. They all have such big personalities so it’s notable when someone is missing. Also there’s no good in-story reason for them to be gone, it’s not like they can be anywhere else.
Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar are horrible actors 😃 They have 0 chemistry and are not even remotely believable as a couple, their performances are so flat, and there is no emotion behind their words they sound so stiff. And NONE of their jokes land. I’ve never seen Utkarsh Ambudkar in anything else so I don’t know about him, but I’ve seen Rose McIver in Once Upon a Time and iZombie and I feel like I remember her being an okay actress? And she’s been in TV for like 15 years or something like that, should she not have bring more nuance/skill to her performances at this point?
All in all though I’m really enjoying this show. Very happy it’s on Netflix!

Theories Theory about Thorfinn
I have limited knowledge about Vikings but I have a theory that Thor needs to die in glorious battle before being tagged as worthy to be sucked off.
I got this theory from remembering that one Rick and Morty episode so there's no basis but I just want to know your thoughts.

Discussion one week since discovering the show
and i've been laughing so hard since then, so glad I picked it up in netflix! already halfway through season two! ugh why didn't I watch this sooner?
anyway, thorfinn, nancy, and alberta have been my favorite characters. never not laughing whenever nancy comes up so much hahahshghahaha. i hated stephanie so much tho, trevor grew on me 🫶 and one of my favorite side characters was freddie.

Discussion I binged watched the show and now I'm sad
I saw a season of this and it didn't really spark my interest.
A few years later, having seen most of the shows out there, decided to give it a watch.
Now, this show isn't going to win any Emmys. But it's fun, heartwarming, campy, and has no shame about any of that. Yes it's 'saccharine' and cheesy, but it lifts my mood, and the general concept and little stories are interesting enough to move it all along.
This show just lifts your mood, and was my 'guilty pleasure' show. Or at least it was, until I finished every episode :(

Spoilers On a Rewatch: Hetty's Death
The first time I watched the episode, I cried. Hetty's death is so raw and true for such a silly show, and her monologue after the reveal really spoke to me. I know exactly how she felt.

Episode Discussion My Fave Moment
Just on a little rewatch binge since I’m sick. S3E9 When Pete discovers his ghost power and is trying to get back to the mansion. “Barack Obama Ave and Eli Manning Way?? WHO ARE THEY!!” makes me crack up every time. Just thought I’d share! :)

Fan Fiction and Episode Ideas - Story Sundays only My Idea for a last season.
So I think if/when they end the show, it should all be about closure. The ghosts we come to know and love, with the help of Sam and Jay, learn, grow, find the closure they needed and over the course of the season they get sucked off, one by one. The last ghost’s final words is that of gratitude, “knowing you has been the honor of my afterlife” or something cheesy like that, and up they go.
Leaving nothing but an empty house.
And instead of Sam and Jay staying there until the day they die, they sell the house, and they leave to live their lives together.

Discussion Sass' walk through power
So, I discovered that PlutoTV has Ghosts last night. Not sure why there two entries...one with S1-4 and the other with S5, but anyway....
In the pilot, Jay walks through Sass twice, and there's no repercussions for Jay. I thought initially it was because they hadn't established that part of the lore, but later in the same episode Jay walks through Isaac and then he and Sam argue about who "dealt it."
I know Sass' ghost power is going into dreams, but what is his walk-through trick? Do they not all have one?
Thanks!

Discussion Rose is absolutely incredible. She acts each ghost so well each possession.im on season 5’s Christmas episode
r/GhostsCBS • u/imcr4zv • 4d ago
Discussion I find it incredibly impressive how well they can make an entire episode without making it obvious a ghost is missing or no there.
I only notice one the episode is over which ghost/actor didn’t appear on screen

Discussion Am I going crazy or has season 2 got a lot more sex jokes?
so I’ve been watching it with my family (my sister, mum, nan and I). I’ve noticed that ever since season two all the jokes are basically sexual comment.
