I showed my mom these pictures. she claimed she saw two figures in the first picture. when i showed her the second, she freaked out real bad and left immediately
every now and then my mom talks about seeing figures in pictures. according to her, she’s always had this ability and used to actively look for figures in pictures, until one day she saw a dead girl hanging from a beam and it scared her so much she wanted nothing to do with it and stopped trying.
today, we talked about it again. she explained its something about opening up your mind to seeing it. she used to go in a facebook group where people shared pictures and lots of people saw the same thing. i dont have this ability and im very intrigued, so i couldnt help myself despite her telling me the whole thing makes her uncomfortable.
i went to an antique store a few weeks back, inside the building you see on these pictures. i randomly took these pictures cause i wanted to show my friends where i went.
the air in the upper floors was very bad quality, causing me to yawn non stop. felt weird up there.
i wanna know, does anyone see anything?

I took two pictures at a family member’s house around 2018. There is something in the mirror that isn’t me.
I took the first two pictures while at my grandparent’s house for a birthday. I was around 14 at the time and I enjoyed taking selfies like most girls around that age did. I didn’t usually review them afterwards, I just took them and moved on. A few years ago (around 2023) I was browsing the Snapchat folder on my phone and I could see something in the mirror’s reflection behind me so I tapped on the picture and looked closer. No one was in the room with me, I was completely alone. I did have a filter on in one photo but not the other, and according to Snapchat those photos were taken less than a minute apart. The thing in the mirror changes shape, too. I didn’t notice anything when I was taking the pictures, and no other pictures I took that night had anything like that in it. Only these two. After I did notice it I took other pictures in the mirror and the background when I went back. I couldn’t find anything that would have caused that figure in the mirror. My grandparent’s house honestly just has some weird stuff happen and the property feels super creepy at night. They have two acres and aside from the area the house is on, the rest is dark and unlit at night. Sometimes we’ll hear thumping when there’s nothing there and a few months ago something knocked down a sturdy stacked wood pile and we didn’t even know until we went outside to help take out my grandparent’s dogs. We didn’t hear a thud or leaves crunching or anything that indicated they’d fallen despite being in the room closest to where the pile was. They’ve also found a unexplained scorched piece of wood really close to the house which is a log cabin with lots of dry leaves and foliage. My grandparent’s old house definitely had activity too. Growing up there my mother said one time she was home alone as a teen and something kept going up and down the walk up attic stairs and calling her name, and she also saw the ‘shadow man’ there. My brother and my cousin also saw it a few times, with my cousin saying that she would see it at other places. Plus a neighbor drove by right before the city tore that house down (it was on a flood zone) and took a picture that had a face in the window, which wasn’t possible because the windows were boarded up.
Honestly, I don’t know what appeared behind me in the mirror but I do know it wasn’t my own reflection, and I find it weird that other things still happen at that property sometimes. I’ve never had anything else like this happen in other pictures. Also, I’m sorry that the first two pictures with that thing in it aren’t great quality. Back then I had an iPhone 6 still and the camera quality wasn’t great.
Edit: The silhouette beside me in the picture I believe was mine, but the face in the mirror that can be seen under the lights fixtures isn’t me.

I have as of this year I have had many unexplained issues need feedback is it ghost or am I going out of my mind.
The most recent example is on Monday I came back from running errands and I put my lanyard up, which only has my house key and car fob. Then 2 days later I needed to go out and started looked for my lanyard and it wasn’t nowhere in the house I turned everything upside down looking for it. I went through everything I might have placed them in (trash can, refrigerator even). I took everything out of my purse thinking they might be at the bottom and all 3 side pockets and nothing. Just to make sure that I didn’t overlook them in the sofa my son and his friend moved everything to check if they were there and nothing.
On the 3rd day I woke up and decided to search my purse again by then I was so overwhelmed and as I decided to search my purse one last time, by then I was in tears and having a full blown meltdown with a panic attack. I searched the main pocket I saw nothing. I was searching the last pocket before I called someone out to replace the fob, I unzipped the pocket it felt off like full. And there was my lanyard. It’s in a pocket that I hardly ever use except for my inhaler.
I guess what I am asking is this a ghost messing with me or what. A while back somewhere on here I read that when your loved ones want to get your attention they do things like this. I have been praying a lot and missing my dad especially since his birthday is on Saturday October 17th.

What Do You Think? I witnessed what I believe to be paranormal activity at a local nail salon during non business hours
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Keep your eyes on the shadow figures and eerie movement of the curtains. The salon was properly locked up tight - door locked, no possible openings for a draft to have made the drapes move, the lights were off. Doubtful they leave the a/c running or keep a floor fan on overnight. Feedback welcomed!
(Movement starts at 1:02 minute mark)

Personal Encounter I saw a ghost last night. It had white dots for eyes and maybe 5ft tall with a head and body.
Weirdly enough, I wasn’t scared of it. I saw it, turned over, said a prayer and went to sleep. However, I’m wondering if the white eyes meant anything? I’ve seen a ghost years ago, however it was the complete opposite. All white with black eyes. How can you tell if the ghost is negative or not or just a visitor? Again, I didn’t have any fear, but I’m curious as to what kind of ghost it was or am I slowly tapping into my mediumship?

Paranormal Community [Discussion] Ghost hunters, did ghosts like or dislike you?
I've noticed that anytime I watch a ghost hunting streak or video ghosts or the paranormal in general usually likes one person (I realized this watching Detour's VOD with Markiplier, while the ghosts loved Markiplier they hated Jordan) and I was wondering if any other hunters have experienced the same?
If so did they give a reason to why they hated or liked you?
What Do You Think? Security video from Ecuador that my Mother in law thinks is a ghost

Here is a video my Mother in law sent from her place in Ecuador. She is positive it is a ghost. The security sensors alerted her that there was human movement captured and this is what she found.

Personal Encounter I slept on the floor to trip the ghost that kept walking past my bed. Instead, a wolf walked in and nibbled my hand.

Am I tripping?? I think I see my grandad
I took a few photos of my grandfathers old house last night. Today my mom informed me about a potential spirit in the windows. Any takers? It looks like my grandad holding one of our Boston terriers.

Personal Encounter My little brother used to see a crying man beside his bed every night. Any explanation?
First of all, I am not a superstitious person, and I don’t usually think too much about these kinds of things. But I’ve been thinking about something that happened when I was a kid for a while now, and no matter how I look at it, I can’t seem to come up with a reasonable explanation.
When my little brother and I were five and six years old, we shared a bedroom. My brother has pretty severe autism and has always been a sensitive kid. When we were that young, he told me and my parents numerous times that an old man sat beside our bed every night, crying. He wasn’t joking or trying to scare me. Every time he brought it up, he seemed completely serious but not scared. He told me it happened almost every night. The old man would sit beside our bed and cry.
I slept in the same room as him, only a few feet away. I never saw anyone. Not once. I never heard anyone crying, either. There was never anything unusual about the room that I can remember. But my brother kept talking about him. Looking back, I can think of plenty of explanations. Nightmares, childhood imagination, sleep-related hallucinations, or something else entirely. But there’s one thing I’ve never been able to figure out. Why did he describe the same thing happening almost every night, with such absolute certainty and such specificity? And why was it always the same story: an old man crying beside our bed?
I don’t know if my brother was dreaming, hallucinating, or simply experiencing something I couldn’t understand. I just know he believed it was real, and I was sleeping right there beside him, and I never experienced it myself. Does anyone have any idea what this could have been? I’m genuinely curious whether there’s a psychological or sleep-related explanation for something like this, especially since we were so young and it's a pretty odd and specific thing to say as a kid. At least that's what I think. Maybe it's normal for kids around that age to have weird dreams or imaginations.

Spooky Looking Reflection in Abandoned Shop Window
Was passing through a small town in rural Alabama a couple weeks ago and snapped a picture of this abandoned old shop, because I love abandoned buildings. When looking at it closer I saw a creepy looking reflection in the right door window - almost like a man peering out. I know it's probably nothing, just thought I'd share with it being Halloween season 👻

Caught on Camera Fire cleanses house of it’s not so nice inhabitants
Captured during a local fire of a house of not so nice characters. It was an old house and always had a creep feeling about it. You can label it pareidolia, but it’s what I feel knowing the house.

What Do You Think? The idea of ghosts terrifies me but I think we have one…
We rent our home, but it’s a 25 year old house.
Sometimes I hear meowing that isn’t one of our cats, and in bed at night sometimes I feel a cat walk on the bed towards me only to reach out and find nothing, look up and there’s no cat on the bed.
I know I’m not hallucinating (I’ve experienced medication-caused hallucinations before) but I don’t want this to be a ghost either. The idea of ghosts freaks me out.
I’m sure there are other things going on I haven’t noticed. Although sometimes things DO randomly fall off table edges. Probably should have led with that.
Tell me there isn’t a ghost cat in our home?!

Personal Encounter Am I talking to a Light Bulb or A Spirit?
I have lived in this house for 3 years and only during the fall time the lights flicker. I’ve changed the bulbs and it still happens.
How it usually starts is that the lights will flicker super fast when I enter the room. I ask the lights questions and they will flicker immediately and accordingly to my questions.
We get mail from the 2 times previous owners and I mentioned their name and that’s when things have been kinda scary. I asked how they passed and it flickers the most over offing themselves, I asked about the prior owners and the bulb completely went out for two days. I think the family that lived here before had someone offed themselves in that room.
After I mentioned the name of the prior owner it almost “holds” the light from being bright (as pictured) and will only let it go if I ask it questions.
Now they are holding the light upstairs in my bedroom and my wife is not happy with it. I promise this is not a hoax or me wanting something to be real, these are my interactions with what I think to be a spirit.
Has anyone experienced this? How can I help this spirit? I’m moving in the next month and would hate for this poor soul to be stuck.

If ghosts are real why isn’t there more solid evidence?
First off I’m open minded, and kind of want ghosts to be real, but I simply don’t believe at this point. I can’t help but think if they were real there would be irrefutable evidence. Not just orbs in a crappy photo or a temperature change or a feeling like energy changed. What evidence has been the most solid for you?

Same Experience - Two different people at Two different moments and they don't know each other.
Has anyone truthfully experienced this??? Would rather hear a personal story versus a hearsay one. It's more authentic.
Here is a very simple example. At a certain location, let's say you heard "Get Out" or "Who is there?" and not only that, but you briefly see a spirit wearing blue pants and a red shirt. In the future at some point, you run into a person describing this same location stating that they heard those exacts words and described the blue pants and red shirt wearing before you even mention that you experienced the same thing. This to me is such a strong case for validating some sort of paranormal experience, because the chances of two people describing the same experience without knowing the other experienced it or any prior knowledge - is almost mathematically impossible.
