Good evening, Preston fans! I’m here to talk about Osmajić.

I’m a Serie A fan, and I’ve been really intrigued by this player, whom I hadn’t come across before.

I have a few thoughts and some questions.

From a footballing perspective, he strikes me as a player who is strong in individual duels and good at bringing difficult balls under control and making something of them, even if his technique doesn’t look particularly refined. In Serie A, those qualities are crucial given the current tactical trend towards man-oriented marking, which has led teams to rely quite heavily on long balls to bypass the press and progress up the pitch.

He also seems to have a decent burst of pace when carrying the ball forward and a reasonable ability to link up with his teammates. Yesterday’s game against Fiorentina was a good example: he scored a goal and provided an assist.

He also looks composed in front of goal. Yesterday’s finish might have looked straightforward at first glance, but I think there was more to it than meets the eye. That said, five games are far too small a sample size to draw any meaningful conclusions about his goalscoring ability.

As for his temperament, he seems to have a certain charisma about him. He always looks fully engaged and involved in the game, although I wonder whether he can sometimes get a little too worked up.

So I wanted to ask you: what kind of impression has he left on you over the years? How would you assess him as a footballer after several seasons at Preston? And, in terms of his personality, have you come to appreciate his intensity and presence, or have you found his excesses frustrating?

I’ve also read about his disciplinary record, including several red cards, as well as a fairly serious incident involving racist abuse, and I’d be interested to hear a bit more about that from people who followed the situation closely.

I don’t know, there’s something about him that seems to fit into a certain category of Eastern European footballers who have a particular kind of appeal. Maybe I’m romanticising things a bit!

Am I onto something, or is there still a lot about Osmajić that I haven’t seen yet?

Grande Milly

Terrible day for our defenders. Osmajic played well at least.

De Rossi has been confirmed at the helm but the choir of critics is raising the volume.

Johan Vasquez brings it home (Coppa Italia Genoa-Südtirol 1-0)

The media team presents the third kit with horizontal red/blue bands and the Ceres (Danish beer) sponsor.

Hi, can anyone tell me if I can bring a digital camera (specifically Nikon Z fc) into the stadium tonight? Thanks

Brooke Norton-Cuffy goes to Hull City for 14M€ + Cody Drameh (similar role)

Aaron Martin leaves for Racing Santander

Robinho Jr. from Santos (loan)

Contacts intensifying with El Shaarawy (free agent - can be hired later)

A- Who will lead the team in scoring?
B- Who will have a breakout year (and consequently get poached by Juventus, Atalanta, Inter or Milan?)
C- Where will the team finish in the standings?

My guesses

A- Colombo
B- Mitaj (Amorim/Ostegard/Havel)
C- 14th

Hello,

I'm from Canada and touring your amazing country. I'm a big footy fan and decided to get tickets for the Genoa match tomorrow. I'm staying in Rapallo and wondering what the best way is to get to and from the match. I figure a train there but it seems like the last trains would be very close to match end. Are there any fan buses, or transit that operates that late?

Thanks!

I went to the friendly against deportivo and couldn't quite make out anything from this to help me find the text or name of the chant, any help is very appreciated! Forza Grifoni!

Going to be in the city this weekend & would love to check out the game!

Secondo voi, realisticamente, chi dovrebbe e potrebbe essere il nuovo bomber in attacco?

I'm a fan from Canada so I haven't gone to see a home match in person yet, but have family there. I was wondering how people thought of the renovation plan for the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, since I think that a lot of Serie A stadiums need it, but I see that it also cuts how many seats there are. What is the general sentiment for local fans?
