Question Can’t get in touch with olympia pharmacy

So I got my first testosterone prescription on Monday, I got it sent to Olympia Pharmacy so I could get it delivered to my house. I paid the invoice that same Monday, and it’s now Thursday and I haven’t heard a word

As I said, this is my first prescription so I have no idea if this is normal or not however the pharmacy told me it’d be delivered next day, so I tried to ring them two days ago to ask for whereabouts however I think their phone lines are cut out. Whenever I call, I press the keypad to speak to an assistant and it’s ten seconds of silence before the phone hangs up. I’ve also emailed twice to try and get some sort of response or update as I need to know when to be home or at least know if it’s coming so I don’t miss the delivery, and i’ve had zero response

I’m honestly getting kind of worried because even after getting in touch with gendergp, they said there’s nothing they can do about it except give me a new token which would mean me paying for the prescription again

Has this happened to anyone else and is this normal please?

Vent/Complaint Paused my membership as there was no way to cancel it and they've changed the website and made it so I'm going to be charged again. This can't be legal can it?

I hope the people running this company rot because this is genuinely fucking evil.

Trans Masc Finasteride?

Do GGP offer to prescribe finasteride for preventing hair loss? I was hoping for the topical version since there’s supposedly less side effects.

Also if any of y’all took it what was your experience?? I’m super worried about going bald lol

Vent/Complaint They keep fucking up my dosage/ prescription 💀

So I am still relatively new with the service, so it could well be teething issues, but this is what happened initially (which I did make a post about before).

So I got prescribed testogel, and was advised to take one pump every other day. I was very confused by this as it is a very very low dose (which is not at all what I indicated wanting). I posted here, others agreed, and eventually, they got back to me saying that they had in fact got my dosage wrong and moved me up to two pumps a day.

I was kinda annoyed about this because it delayed my start on a full dosage, but whatever, didn’t matter too much. Issue was, now I was left with only one bottle which was too little for the actual dose, and so I had to get prescribed more.

So I eventually manage to get a token to pick up more gel, and I was prepared to pay for most likely one more bottle, potentially 2. But for some reason, they sent me THREE more bottles, which is a massive surplus considering my next prescription date AND since I’m switching to injections, so I won’t even be using gel. It was expensive asf and I won’t even get round to using it all, I’m tempted to just up my dosage (since I’m a month+ in with absolutely NO changes happening- like, not even the subtle small ones people notice within the first few weeks like energy/ mood changes). I just don’t know how they have messed up with both of my only prescriptions so far. Has anyone else had similar experience? does it kinda level out with time being with them?

What is happening?

So I tried to log in and at first it tells me that the page can't be found and after I go back the login is there, so I log in and now it's saying I missed payments while my membership was stopped??

Why would I be charged for months I wasn't using the service? What's going on with the website cuz it's completely different than last time I was a member, are they just AI vibe coding it? It's so broken.

Are there any better services I can switch to at this point? 😭😭

Question Double payment???

I signed up with smartway (smartRX) home delivered prescription cause I’m lazy and couldn’t be assed to walk down to the pharmacy. They sent me through my payment link, I paid £95 for 1ml enanthate every 3 weeks. I was under the impression the £95 was for 3 months worth?

I got a months worth delivered and a note saying they can’t send more than a months worth at a time. Whatever not a big deal.

My next shots in a week and I emailed asking where the next lot was cause like, I need it? Didn’t hear back.

Got another payment link sent today for another £95. No way is 2ml 95 flipping quid. I emailed them again but still haven’t heard back.

QUESTION:
Am I being stupid and it really is just that ridiculously expensive or has someone messed up?

Edit: I literally JUST got an email come through, no way, that’s insane if that’s right considering my mates on sustanon and his is 60 for 3 months worth

Question How does the delivery service work?

I’ve got my electronic prescription email a few days ago, but since I’m stealth and with the people that don’t know I’m trans all the time, I don’t actually have any time to go dispense my prescription from boots like I usually do- so I was wondering how this whole Olympia pharmacy delivery thing it suggests in the email works- do I have to be at home for my delivery (like am I gonna have to sign for it?) cuz I’m not at home all that much recently so I don’t know if that would be a smart idea

Community Cancelled my GenderGP Subscription and I feel good

I have been with GenderGP for years and have seen this company go from seen as an okay way to get HRT to an embarrassing excuse for a private service which wants to be an overpriced social media do everything app instead of a capable private prescriber and while I could deal with that them raising their prices to £35.99 along with an extra £5 a month and extra £3 for stuff that used to be included in our prescriptions has led me to cancel my subscription. This added on to me finding out recently they charge US customers less to onboard and for their subscription as well.

I am someone who wouldn't normally do this, to give context I dealt with this company for years, I worked with them as a model, Helen (the founder) follows me on socials as do her daughter and other members high up in the company, I am advertised as one of the company's success stories and have seen how those high up in it flaunt their wealth while draining us fucking dry with their greed. I am planning on setting up a new subscription with a new company next month (either Imago or AnneHealth).

I was stressing about this a lot over the last few nights and I have to say to ANYONE thinking about going with GenderGP or you are with GenderGP try to change if you can.

If you've been on hormones for 2+ years Anne Health costs around £30 more a year but you get free bloodtests and free consultations meaning you're actually saving money. Or if you're new just go for Imago, it's a cheaper monthly cost but is more strict with bloods which while pricey is what you want for good care.

The set up cost for both is also cheaper than GenderGP.

GenderGP is an AI ran mess and I'm glad I'm done with it.

Question amps over multi-use vials?

I recently changed from testogel to testosterone enanthate and expected to get multi-use vials as my dose is 0.5 ml and the bottles were labelled as 1ml but i’ve been given amps instead.

Is there a way to change it to multi-use vials? the thought of throwing away a full dose makes me cringe 😭

Question MEDICATION QUESTION

Hello, I’m just starting my transition with hrt through GenderGP. I signed up this morning, and had a prescription made for me in the same day. I was prescribed estradiol tablets, progesterone tablets, and lupron depot injections. I was honestly shocked with the speed in which I got a prescription and was able to pick them up. I’m going through this experience alone, have no trans people in my life to ask questions, so I did some research online for each medication. My main question is should I take all three at once, or do i leave the progesterone out in the beginning?
From what I see online, people don’t usually get prescribed progesterone at the start of their transition, so I’m left wondering why I did, and should I take them all now? I’ve seen people say it can stunt the development of breasts, and that’s the last thing I want, so please if anyone is able to chime in with some advice or input, I’d appreciate it!!🫶🏻

Blood prices

Anybody know if switching from spiro to cypro will remove the need to get urea & electrolytes tested?

been on hrt for 6 months now and havent had my bloods done yet 😐 gp says no (trying again soon probably) and external clinic prices are literally extortionate. Most dont do under 18s and besides that the fingerpricks are no good for gel.

Anyways any advice appreciate ty

How bad is GenderGP really?

15 (soon to be 16) transfem, and Im looking into different under 18s private care options, since thats what im pretty sure I want to do. Obviously, since price is a big consideration, GenderGP is an option im looking into. Ive seen quite a lot of people say that theyre bad, but I feel like it surely cant be that terrible. My only interest is getting diagnosed and starting hrt as soon as possible after turning 16, and I would like to keep the costs as low as possible. Whether my GP would consider shared care is obviously a factor, since thatd discourage me from going with them. Still, they seem quite a bit cheaper, and thats what im interested in, although if it was really bad id be willing to go with another more expensive option. So, is GenderGP really that bad and should I consider them?

Storing sustanon in syringe?

I know you aren’t supposed to do this. But I’m stressing about not being able to get my next prescription on time, and I’m only using half an ampoule at a time. If I draw it up with an air bubble between the rubber plunger and the oil, would the medication actually degrade over 3 weeks?

Vent/Complaint GGP customer service is so bad that i am now almost a week late for my T shot

pretty much that. i contacted GGP a week before i was supposed to take my next shot BEGGING for them to change my prescription date so i could receive my T in time or even just a couple days late for my next shot (and yes i went through to finance and heard nothing there too).
it took them until two days before my shot to change the date. i’m furious.
i ordered through olympia using my digital prescription, and while yes, this is no longer a GGP issue it’s relevant to my frustration- i have no info on whether my T is on the way or not, olympia hasn’t informed me of any delays inspite of me ASKING “hey, i don’t have tracking info, has this been delayed?” just to be met with a generic copy-paste “delays happen”-esque response. i ordered my T Wednesday last week. If i reach Friday with no shot, then i have missed a whole week with no T, and the way this is looking- no tracking info either.

i so wish i could afford to be elsewhere
