It is a generative-AI reading and roleplay app. You import your own txt / epub / md book; when it ends, or at a spot you want changed, the AI offers a few "what happens next" cards and each pick becomes a real branch. The original text is never edited. It also imports SillyTavern-style character cards and lorebooks for roleplay chat.

The AI side: you bring your own key (60+ providers such as DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Anthropic, Google, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) and keys stay encrypted on the phone, or you use built-in pay-as-you-go credits. Not open source, and third-party SillyTavern extensions do not run. What breaks on your own files is the feedback I most want.

I'm a HS customer since almost a year ago. Since then, I had some minor problems but nothing crazy. This past month it failed more than usual and I wasn't using them that much so I cancelled, and they charged me still I needed to get a refund counter-charging and sending the bill to my bank with the cancelled sub mails because otherwise I'd be literally screwed. I wanted to get an annual plan, but this pissed me off SO MUCH that I don't wanna do that no more. I wanna find alternatives that I can use ike them, based in your own experience. I built Melo with AI assistance and tested it on real iPhones. Feedback on editing portions and reviewing the scan results is welcome.

I watched a YouTube walking tour while planning a weekend away and kept forgetting to note the names of places I liked. Then I'd go back for a name, watch another bit of the walk, and forget what I'd gone back for. The description only linked a few of the stops.

I put the video link into vomo ai, then used Ask AI on the transcript to get the places in order, with the narrator's sentence beside each one. I asked it to leave unclear names for me to check. I just wanted a list to look up on the map.

There were two names I still had to listen to again. One needed a spelling correction. Another stop was only called "the market," so that took a bit more hunting in the video. Having the surrounding sentence helped me find the part I needed without watching the whole thing again.

I saved the places on my map and checked opening times separately, since the video was a few years old. The sentences stayed in my trip notes too. A few days later, I looked at one of the names and couldn't remember why I'd saved it. The note reminded me it was the cafe with the upstairs seating, which was the bit I'd liked in the first place.

Hey everyone!

I'm Alejandro, a music producer and visual artist based in Berlin. I've been developing an imagined future world called Berlin 2063 through my music label, Parallel Vision, combining electronic music, fashion, fictional characters and visual storytelling.

That project eventually pushed me into building my own AI platform, PV LAB.

I was using different image and video generators constantly, and the biggest challenge wasn't just getting beautiful results. It was creating something visually coherent across hundreds of images and videos, without losing the identity of the characters or the artistic direction.

So I started building a workspace around the way I actually create.

What I've been working on:

• Image generation: Different models including Seedream and Nano Banana, depending on the kind of image or editing I need.

• Character consistency: Identity references, poses, backgrounds and styling so you can develop a recognizable character across different environments.

• Visual moods: Curated looks inspired by editorial photography, analogue film, underground fashion and nightlife.

• Image to video: Taking finished compositions and animating them using dedicated video models.

• Upscaling: Topaz and ByteDance workflows to refine and enhance the final images.

One of the more interesting things I've been experimenting with is artistic freedom. I want creators to explore unusual aesthetics, darker visual worlds and adult-oriented projects, while being transparent that individual models have different content restrictions.

I've also been using PV LAB for my own project called Parallel Fiction, an adult sci-fi visual world published on Fanvue. Everything there has been produced with PV LAB. It's probably the best example of why I built the platform in the first place.

Hi r/GenAiApps — I’m the developer of BiteJot AI, an iPhone food-logging and weight-management app. I built it after repeatedly abandoning food tracking because entering every item and portion felt like too much work.

The AI features are meant to make logging quicker: take a meal photo, review the suggested foods, correct items or portions, and save. There’s also an AI coach for general habit support. The photo suggestions can be wrong, so they’re meant to be reviewed and edited by the user.

I've been using multiple AI coding agents across several software projects — Codex, Claude Code, DeepSeek, and others.

The biggest challenge wasn't generating code. It was keeping track of tasks, progress, and decisions across different agent sessions.

So I built StateDock, an open-source task management tool for AI coding workflows.

The idea is simple: Agents come and go. Tasks stay.

Here's how it works:

• Create tasks with goals, decisions, and status.
• Assign tasks to specific AI agents.
• Agents claim their assigned tasks through MCP.
• Agents update task status and leave summaries.
• Switch agents without losing task history.
• Track multiple projects from one dashboard.

StateDock doesn't run or orchestrate AI agents. It simply keeps tasks and project context organized independently of any particular agent.

It's open source and supports self-hosting with Docker.

I'm a solo dev and I just released Ring Meter on Android. It started because my phone is basically always on silent, and I kept seeing "Missed call from Mom" with no idea if she let it ring for a minute or hung up after one ring.

So the app tmes every missed call and tells you:

- How long it rang, to a tenth of a second

- Voicemail or hang-up? It learns when your carrier diverts to voicemail

- One-ring scam warnings for premium-rate callback numbers

- Patterns: who waits the longest and when you usually miss calls

- A repeat-call alarm that rings out loud if the same person calls again while you're on silent

It has no internet permission at all, so nothing leaves your phone.
